Texas All or Nothing
Good luck Oso. Hope you win a bunch. I find new data all the time to look at and just this week have come upon things that are allowing me to cut back in the amount of $ I spend and starting to get 4 8 numbers consisstently each day. It's all that I can do to track one of the draws so won't be of much help for the AM, Evening or Night draw. Afraid you will have to accumulate that info yourself. All that I know is the AM and Night draws are not like the Noon and neither is the Evening draw. Other

Do some number combinations have better odds?
And if I define got lucky as number combinations that have better odds what then boney? Do you presume to have power to determine how I define words and the way they view things like moe does?

Do some number combinations have better odds?
We've already discussed the title of this thread is some what deceptive
Excellent observation Stack,
but it is only deceptive in the sense that different people interpret the question in different ways.
The Three Stooges are obsessing over Which number combinations have better odds ?
While the rest of us discuss Who or what produces number combinations that outperform the odds ?

Do some number combinations have better odds?
And that is why this entire thread, and you by association, is a complete and utter fraud. I get better odds because I say so. No mathematical facts, no reproducible methods, just raw, unfiltered EGO.

Fallacies, and two REAL ways of improving your chances
The odds may be the same for every combination, but not for every set of combinations.
To keep things simple consider the old New Jersey 6/48 game. Odds 1 in 12,271,512
If, instead of any 8 lines, what if we use ALL the numbers randomized among 8 lines?
1 12 19 26 36 41
2 7 11 16 32 33
3 18 21 29 31 35
4 9 10 13 25 46
5 14 23 28 37 38
6 8 17 30 34 47
15 20 42 44 45 48
22 24 27 39 40 43
As only 6 numbers are drawn, no more then 6 lines can contain all

Fallacies, and two REAL ways of improving your chances
I think most LP members are here for that same reason in spite the occasional member like Yoyo thinking only a few of us are aware of the odds of accomplishing that task. I know conventional wisdom says it's not likely to happen and if it does it will defy conventional math and logic so they have no relativity here.

Proposal to ban welfare recipients from playing lottery
So does Idaho, and I'm pretty sure all other states do too. What NC is trying to do is to get extremely low income people to stop wasting the money they do have on lottery. The odds of winning or even breaking even are so bad, I have to agree that it's a waste of money.

NY Win 4 steals $300
A s/b win on Win4 0.50/0.50c gets you $2600; However, s/b 50/50 in Numbers gets you $290.
Ok, so since Win4 is X10 of Numbers, thus 1000 x 10, and $290 x10 = $2900.$2900 - $2600 = losing $300 for same odds.
Also, since 1/3 are doubled numbers in Win4, it's a nearly impossible game to win. Though, yes, I must admit I see alot of signs on stores stating Win4 winnings of $25k or $50k.
Odds are better than Take5's as 575757 / 4 = $144k. Rarely someone wins $75k or above as prize is split 1/
