Players have to beat odds of 648,976 to 1 to win $10,000 with the fixed payoffs and the average pari-mutual payoffs will be less than that. I wonder if anyone will be upset when they finally match 5 + 0, win $500,000, and see the 5 + 0 winners in other states winning $1 million.

Sorry to hear that. Heard FL won a PB jackpot last nite. MA did few weeks ago too..May be its time to switch to PB and MM? Even if we play 10 lines per draw for both games we wont lose as much as we do for these scratchers..Odds of hitting a second tier prize of $1M for these are same as those for $20 scratchoffs.

That's the wrong approach, IMO, unless there are multiple jackpots of comparable sizes to their odds of winning. I put wrong in quotes since it is just an opinion. Any amount of money I'm willing to play will be played on one game, and just one game on the rare occasion in which there is a nice jackpot. Then again my lottery play is very different than most on here. I don't play for months at a time, and then on one night when the Jersey Cash 5 grows over 800K, I play between 10 and 50 d

You can hide behind the big picture all you want Boney, it doesn't change the fact that in the big $588 million game I was playing with 10 times BETTER ODDS than you were..........

Love it carli thank you hope it works for every state it's no garuntee but better odds for sure guys. Also love the format if we could just 2 number in both the mid and the eve so we can choose from the day before box too becu sometimes it jst comes late. Ty tho

Even with odds of 1:14M, ticket sales still effect how often it's won. CL only sells a fraction as many tickets as MM.

I doubt anyone would complain about winning $12M, but if your goal is to simply retire and/or live an upper middle class to upper class lifestyle, an in-state Lotto game would probably be the better option considering the odds are way better, so much better that I see it as a no-brainer.

jakpotretiree2b, I agree, in that I am hoping everyone doesn't go nuts about cause I am liking the current odds. =) Bought my second ticket yesterday for the week, and third today which is numbered in 497, XXX region, so getting real close to the half million mark. I am planning on buying one each day up through sunday and then sunday I am going to buy a few in bulk. Happy lottering everyone. =)
