Every Lottery Player Think About This For A Second...
I dont need to prove a negative at all. You don't need to prove anything at all, but making claims refusing to offer some reasonable support for them is just one more reason that we've got no reason to believe a lot of what you say. From what I gather they know what store the high dollar ones are at. When they send them out . AFAIK you're actually correct about that, and many years ago in Indiana(?) one of the lottery's security people was able to find out what store had received a

How exactly are lottery scratchers numbered in CA
Hi Think, I understand what you are saying, and thanks for that. I just think it's very odd that those numbers do not correlate with tickets (supposedly) sold, and there is no formal site showing how they are actually numbered. There should be some way to corroborate the site statistics with actual numbers, and book 1million doesn't match what I would expect with 18million. I could understand if somehow each pool was random or had gaps for security, or something else, but that would mean the

How exactly are lottery scratchers numbered in CA
No, I was referring to multiplying the book number by 30. If the first number is the book number you would multiply by 30 because in your example there were 30 tickets per book. In Michigan and a lot of other states the numbers on the bottom are xxx-xxxxxxxx-xxx with the first set being the game number and the second set being the book number and the third set is the ticket number in that particular book. So in a lot of states You multiply the overall odds by the overall number of prize

What's the Purpose of the Printed Time of Purchase on Tickets, If Drawing is 15 min to 1 hr Later?
I agree with rcbbuckeye. The whole idea the lottery tracks millions of people is too conspiratorial with too many bridges to jump (for me) to make that destination. First we have to believe, either the lottery or the government has a back room where people are logging every combination picked at each minute/second of the day in an attempt to determine who is and who is not a serious player. For the millions of tickets bought each day that would be quite a feat, even for the government.

Lottery Ethics
The link below is the drawing procedure for the SC lottery. It gives a very detailed explanation of every thing they do. Every state has similar security procedures. But they may vary on how many people are involved in the process and how many rehearsals they do. So my question continues to be, with security this tight, why the need for pre tests? How could anyone tamper with anything? https://youtu.be/QLI3c9Fji0Y As far as pulling the ball sets from my previous post, that was explained to

Undercover Kentucky Lottery investigation snares three store employees trying to steal prizes
The Kentucky Lottery's security department launched an Integrity Testing Program to determine if store clerks were following procedures for cashing winning tickets. I'd like to have a dollar for every time a clerk told me my ticket wasn't a winner when I knew for a fact it was. But usually it was because the clerk made a honest mistake. A lottery knowledgeable store owner told me it might be because the clerk didn't clear the machine or didn't scan the ticket correctly. That's not saying ther

You just won a huge lottery jackpot! Now what?
U.S. citizens who provide a social security number will have 24% of a prize over $5,000 withheld before receiving the prize. If you are not a U.S. citizen or do not provide a social security number when you claim, then they withhold 30% before receiving the prize. Also, your state (and local taxes, if any, will be withheld too) before you get any money. Plus, as the article states, Melissa Labant, a tax policy expert at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, said win

Drawings show pattern
It would be interesting to see results of how many winners versus tickets purchased there were annually when states used ball drawings, and then again after those states switched to computer drawings. There has just been too many instances of suspicious drawings with computer draws for people to completely trust them. If a lottery draw is done by a computer, it can be fixed to do something they want it to. Whether it's fixed by the lottery or by a player like Tipton, it can be done. And no ma
