I gave approximate odds when any 3 digit combo should repeat. The random pick-4 drawings seldom match probability and in some a player might find where a 3 digit combo repeats every seven drawings.

If you figure doubles for 28% of the draws (I count a triple as a double), since the start of the month, we're looking at 10/38 (26%)... so slightly below average. We have 22 draws left, and in order to keep that ratio of 28%, at least 7 or 8 draws have to be doubles. The odds look good at least, lol.

Producing a physical list that size would take time and I would probably be blindly picking from it and that is what I'm doing when I'm picking random combinations made up from numbers in the pool. If all the winning numbers are in the two pools, I'm likely to have a small winner anyway since the overall odds of having a winner are 1:9.8.

Sometimes it weeks before I can hit a 3ball in box play at 50 cents. In a moment of lucidity I ask myself, why am I playing the Powerball again? 3ball odds are 1:1000 and further reduced if you're going after a box hit. If I struggle doing that imagine 175 mil to 1!

I seen a kid maybe 7 or 8 drop about 4 or 5 dollars into one of those operate a crane and catch a prize machine. That is a gambling on the odds deal. Kids sit in these game rooms and drop loads of money into a machine to beat the odds. Lottery is entertainment too. Old enough to have money old enough to spend it. Kids make enough money they are taxed on it too even if they are a minor. Should have the same right as anyone.
