Do some number combinations have better odds?
If your Fantasy 5 game is anything like Ohio's Rolling Cash5(5/39) then 11.4% of the tickets are winners and your overall odds of winning something are 1:9. The jackpots aren't large($100K-$500k), but if you like to win a dollar or three once in a while then it's an attractive game.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
If my set of 39 numbers holds the 5 winning numbers in tonight's drawing, I should hit a 3 of 5 on one of these 8 lines because they have the same odds as buying 320 QP lines from a Lottery terminal.

Pennsylvania still has winners out there!
Halloween $2 continues to be terrible here. Another loser today! I think the odds are really 1 in 44 and not 4.4.

Ohio Classic Lotto (6/49) at $16.6M/$8.3M cash
Now that MegaMillions jackpot is $12.0M/$9.0M and Classic Lotto is $19.7/$9.9M, OCL should give MM some serious competition for the next couple of drawings especially with 12x better odds of winning an equal size jackpot. Good luck if you're playing.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I was in the gas station today and caught myself heading over to the P.E.F. siphoning device to get some MM QPs and said to self..... Why do such a stupid thing? You know self, you can eliminate 17 MM numbers and play from a pool of 39 ......... Giving yourself BETTER ODDS of 1 in 575,000

Do some number combinations have better odds?
When picking and playing only 20 lines the payoffs become a problem because you probably won't have multiple winners. If you get two three number matches, you still won't cover the cost of play and it gets worse playing PB. The smaller secondary odds to payoff ratio are terrible in either game.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Im quite happy about marking the bonus number 10 on my play slips now instead of the 3 .... It seemed like a long time to use 3 after 14 draws, even though I ended up with BETTER ODDS by a 3 to 1 margin.

Are QPs randomly generated numbers?
There was a story several months ago about duplicate tickets, but IIRC, entire tickets were duplicated the next time a QP was printed. Whether it's in the QP generator or some other part of the overall system, that's clearly the result of a flaw. If the lottery says the fix prevents duplicates I expect that it's a simple case of not being precise. What they should have said is that it will prevent duplicates as a result of flaws in the system.
If QP's are random we should expect duplicates in

Florida's Billion Dollar Blockbuster v GRT or ??
I know, but i used to buy these at 10 at a time and won nothing everytime. I know the odds are better for the big prize but it seems like there is twice as much duds. I stopped playing them like i used to because they were horrible, but with your statistics you got me to start again. Lol im going to try the soak trick. I also figured out that it alot harder to scratch with a quarter then it is with a penny because of the ridges on a quarter.
