New lottery scam pictures posted
Oprah did a show last week called What the New Scam Artists Don't Want You to Know Some people who were scammed were there and told their stories and the experts on the scams told how the scams were done and who were doing them.
For the lottery scams, they focused on the ones from Nigeria because they are the most effective and sent out the most.
The expert of the Nigerian Lottery Scams said that the scams comes from a small poor place where the people only make $1 a day working. The

Lottery scams hard to resist for some
How I got rid of those scam letters.
I have a form letter that I use.
Dear ___ ,
Thank you for informing me of my astounding winnings of__________. To be utterly frank, that is more money than I would ever need. So here's my deal. Instead of sending $49.95 to you to process my winnings, kindly keep 25% of my winnings and send me the balance.
No doubt you must realize this is an offer you can't refuse.
Awaiting my check.
I haven't received another scam letter in years.

I would like to know whether EUROPEAN SWEEPSTAKES PROMOTION is a scam company?
Best Answer - Chosen By Voters
I received the same email a few months ago. As they ask you to pay money to get your winnings, it is most likely a scam. Remember, if it sounds to good to be true it probably is. Never pay money to get money!! I also recently received another email from a UK promotion saying I'd won alot of money. I deleted it.
See...I told ya so....

Lottery winners: beware the phone
Many of these callers will be known by the winners or will be legitimate organizations, yet others will be strangers or scammers trying to conjure a plan to get a piece of the winner's nearly $1 million - the amount expected to be doled out to each person after taxes.
The net amount keeps changing. What was the cash value? I can't seem to find it in any article. If I recall it was around $95M. So the near $1 million reported above can't be right. Even a 50% payout after fed state tax

Michigan resident loses whopping $295,000 in lottery scams
I feel badly for anyone who is cheated by these maggots who prey on human weakness. But someone offering you an alternative to your investment portfolio is not a scam artist. A scam artist is someone who defrauds a person and unknowingly steals their money or makes false promises. The list of names you mentioned are often gathered from court records such as loans which include new mortgages and refinancing and other public information. Property tax records are also available to the public. If I

Having a lottery machine: Now that's the ticket
I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to purchase tickets if they weren't on the original roll of tickets. I have a relatively high IQ and do dumb things all the time! Yet I'm the first to think boy that person is dumb when I read about a scam. My friends say wait until it happens to you, Nancy, since I'm so critical when people mail money or are victims of schemes. However, I see the same people all the time at the stores I shop in and probably would buy a lone ticket if the cashier

Club Keno Scam!!
Is there anyone out there that played club keno on Saturday November 26, 2005 or any other days and had a discrepency with the numbers that were drawn? I would like to find out any information that I can because I believe the state pulled a fast one by switching one of the numbers. On November 26, 2005, my husband and I went to dinner and after dinner was done, he decided to play club keno. After he came back to the table with his ticket we waited for the drawing. Draw number 180054 was our firs
