Florida Lottery Holiday Millionaire Raffle
An instant win component (via separate entry through lottery website for security reasons; retailers can't be trusted) would help drive sales. For many players, the $20 price-point isn't the main issue, it's the long wait for the drawing. In that regard, PA Lottery has the right idea with conducting more raffles, but going about it wrong - 2 months is still too long, and too many tickets being offered.
Florida offering 750,000 tickets seems insanely high considering the difficulty of other lo

Pennsylvania Lottery seeking volunteer witnesses on evening drawing show
Todd,
It's ok to have a different view on this. Getting volunteers to to participate in various social situations is always great. As I stated before and I will stand by,is that volunteers do cost something to have on hand. I personally don't want any volunteer as a witness representing the public interest by helping to ensure the integrity and security of our drawings as your main article suggests.
Congrats to them to having no issues for 30 + years. That is no guarantee for the future. A

Inside the biggest lottery scam ever
Former MUSL employee denies rigging Hot Lotto drawing
It was two days before Christmas in 2010 and Eddie Tipton had a $16.5 million lottery winner in his pocket.
Sporting a hooded jacket, the stocky 47-year-old approached a silver-haired clerk at the counter of an Iowa-based Quik Trip market at around 3:30 p.m., stacking on the counter $3.17 worth of hot dogs, a fountain soda and two tickets.
But Tipton didn't need Lady Luck. The Quik Trip purchase was phase two of a crafty plan to take

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I haven't said this in awhile so I just wanted to reiterate here:
Full disclosure: I'm a retailer.
I think it's unrealistic to expect the CA Lottery to keep a database for the tickets. We're talking about hundreds of millions of tickets here. To have it constantly being updates in near real-time would take a massive undertaking. And per ticket sales aren't communicated to the CA Lottery since the retailers method of inventory tracking (whether electronic or otherwise) is kept in-house and

I agree with you our kids will be fine and freedom will move forward. The internet has seen to that. However don't think the kids will pay off this debt. They won't. The day is coming quickly that they will vote for a different kind of Congress that will cut this debt burden severely that is holding hostage their job security and prosperity. Namely Medicare, Social Security, and Government Pension Checks.

Your new neighbors after you win the lottery
What kind of people would you think they would be?
How do you think they would feel about you moving in the neighborhood.....for example David Edwards neighbors didnt care for his flashy ways and trailer park ways towards the end...he was in a kinda upscale Palm Beach gated neighborhood
Do you think they would even acknowledge you? Resent you?
My brother told me of a neighborhood in London where the neighbors didnt ask to borrow a cup of sugar instead they would ask to borrow a blank ch

Loopholes allow some Michigan lottery winners to stay on welfare
I am sorry to hear about that. I hope everything worked out for you. I once worked in a welfare office as a caseworker and I believe your story. We had a very high turnover of caseworkers in my office in fact, they'd hire 15-30 every month, most of whom didn't stay long. Most treated the job as a survival job or just a stepping stone to something better. Many were lax in doing their jobs and most didn't care.
I'm sure there are some good caseworkers out there and in fact, there were many i

Millions in lottery winnings go unclaimed each year
Very well said and I agree with all that you wrote.
Your last paragraph points out another very important point which is:
When a customer enters a store to conduct business, the customer in effect enters into an agreement that consents his or her rights to the rules of the store, which includes, but are not not limited to the capture of the customer's activities, by the clearly visible security camera in the store.
I believe that the clear visibility of the camera meets any requirements
