California: 5/1 - 5/31/2012
Ca is fixed Im convinced. The only way to beat this game is to play all 100 front pairs straight and stick with one number for the 3rd position. And, even then, the odds are against you with progressive wagering. The number 3 has not come up in the 3rd position for a very long time.

$30 tickets?
The $30 scratcher has overall odds of 1 in 2:52 of winning. But I have never won more than my money back on it......

Going after 100m Powerball Jackpot?
The jackpot games always look good to me no matter whether they're the state lotto at $1M or PB at $40M+. I'd be elated with any big win so I buy tickets whenever the urge strikes without regard to odds vs. jackpot size.

Which odds are better. Part 2.
Many state have local games of 6of47 to 6of49 with jackpots of $10M+ with odds of 1/11M to 1/14M, but that's a little over kill if your target is only $1M.

Which odds are better. Part 2.
Excellent question Ronnie. I have a personal goal of acquiring at least two million dollors so I would lean towards MM, PB or state lotteries with very good odds. Winning 500k however would be sweet and let's not forget that some scratchers tickets can be entered into another drawing for a chance to win a nice jackpot. You may want to be sure and save those losing scratcher's. I'm not familar with your state rules and regulations. I'd be interested in hearing the results.

Going after 100m Powerball Jackpot?
Probably 300 or 400 million. Maybe not even then, but I don't play too often anymore. Just when I see really big Jackpots, compared to the odds.

Florida Lottery's repeat winners don't always come out ahead
inasmuch as you are a long distance truck driver (allegedlly) would alleviate and explain the travel and associated costs. however, i hope your company appreciates the time you spend buying and cashing all these winning tickets. i just think this is a fish story as the odds of hitting a paltry pik 3 are 1000-1 and no one could hit that many this often. disclose how much you invest in each draw to get these constant hits.

pick 4 wrong odds
Win4 odds are really 1:210 not the stated 1:417 if all numbers are different. The possibilities for a straight range from 0000-9999 making it 1:10,000, but not for box. You start off with a choice of 10 numbers on 1st line, so it's 1/10. Then 2nd line you have 9 left; 3rd 8; 4th 7. Thus, 10x9x8x7=5040. So your chances of hitting all 4 numbers which come up in a draw are 1:5040. But in a box the numbers could be in any order, so 5040/24 = 210 not 10,000/24 = 417. If you choose: 0,3,5,8 a

Question for Ohio??
The odds of hitting a straight on pick 4 are 1:10,000 which means only one player in 10,000 will do that. What have you ever done that make you think that one player should be you? Just buying a ticket isn't good enough to separate you from the 9,999 players who are destined to lose unless you're very lucky. Just being lucky might score you a box hit.
