It's sad that even with help and a $100 winner that the profit was so low. Didn't see the new ones today. Wish I did. 11 of the $2 Win for Life ticket produced $4. Now I only get one small try on the new tickets Wed., and I really don't want to play even that after what I've seen. I just plain don't believe the listed odds.

How do you calculate the odds if for the 3 balls, you select from numbers 1-45, and for the last 3 you select from 1-15? You don't know whether the first 3 numbers you select contains a number from 1-15.

I used to go to Barona Valley Ranch in Lakeside,CA. They have some good video poker machines. I won $4000.00 twice. The last time I was dealt the royal flush playing dueces wild. The odds are 1 in 650,000 for the royal to be dealt.

The odds aren't better or worse, in fact, the odds of winning the Jackpot are the same, you're just changing the overall variance. If you play all mega balls, you are gauranteed some back, but not a lot. You can still win a lot, if you're really lucky on a set of numbers or two. If you play just one you aren't gauranteed anyything back, but if your mega ball is right, you'll be much more likely to something much more substancial. I'd go with picking a few mega balls, and

Better odds but still hard to win on Mass Cash anyone play this one?Reply
My state has a 5/39 game Rolling Cash5 which always has a jackpot of $100K or more and is usually won at least twice every week by some one but never by me. I just thought since the odds of winning the jackpot were almost 1:600K, I would probably have to play at least half that many lines before I ever had a chance of winning it even if I was lucky.

The good news is the odds of those three numbers coming back or the three that weren't drawn are exactly the same as any other three numbers being drawn. If I were playing the same numbers a long time, I'd keep playing them for a buck.
