Three number I always play come up today
Hi, this is really on my mind. I always play the same numbers on Mega Millions .....I was so happy that two numbers had never come up at the same time ( I did the search of my numbers on the Lotto webpage that goes back to begining of the game) so I was very happy of that. Made me feel my odds were better. Well today 3 numbers come up ...3 ....thats half. Do you think this makes the odds more against me for my numbers to come up again? Should I pick a new set of numbers or am I way over thinking

Looking for a format sytem for jackpot games
No one could realistically expect you to come up with the 5 winning numbers every time even with 20 numbers. Besides, if you did your odds of picking the combination with all 5 would be 1:15,504 so you would need a lot of luck or a lot lines to match 4.

Trying to calculate the number of combinations with criteria
If your maths is correct. Does that mean that by me making a correct prediction, I have reduced my odds from 8mil to 2mil, while still playing all 45 balls.

What Do You Think About The Current Mega Millions And Powerball Lottery Jackpots?
$32? That was silly. You do know that buying more tickets doesn't improve your odds, right?

Choosing How Much Money To (Try And) Win...
There's a couple different kinds of occasional players. There's the type that aren't in the habit of playing the lottery like we are, so it doesn't occur to them to go out and buy a ticket unless a record is being approached and the hype machine kicks in. Either that or they just happen to be at the gas station or the grocery store or wherever, they see the lottery terminal flashing the current jackpots, and they decide to throw down a couple of dollars. It's not that people would turn down a sm

The Lottery Is A Zero-Sum Game. No Lottery Player Can Win Without Another Lottery Playery Losing.
Yep, somebody's gotta win, and, somebody's gotta lose in these games...no way around it. Your last sentence speaks the gospel in its' fullest form and I live by it. I might play a line or two on the MM, PB, or most of all, our 6/54 games every now and again, but there's no sense in doing it regularly due to the odds. As a note, I high lighted the 6/54 game due a thread I will begin shortly. Like you, RJOh, I stick to the games that I know I can make some money on, and, regularly. I even have a p

Wisconsin Badger5 $$
Not worth it. You're better of with pick 3 or 4. Odds are better and you could win more in a shorter period of time.

Post your scratch ticket results
Id love to hit a big one and tell the lotto press conference that ticket odds are getting worse and worse and you have to buy many many rolls to get 1 decent winner. wonder if they would publish that. ha !

Does anyone play their state lotteries any more?
I believe he just rounded the odds up to 14 instead of typing all those numbers. What's a few thousand when we're considering almost 14 million combos? LOL.

South Carolina: 4/1 - 4/30/2012
Congrats to the winners. I'm starting to think I have better odds of winning the mega millions jackpot than hitting anything on Pick3. 148 combo 6 times on the midday draw tomorrow. I mean it should hit it has the digit 8 in it!
