Modeling The P3 Part 2
What draw file?
This is all that happens:
I click on the Exe program, it very fast opens a small DOS window and before I can see what is on the window, it closes right away.
So other than that, nothing happens.
I wonder if it has something to do with my Pc's security measures.
Ion's programs are also DOS and they work, so it might have to do with the program's code.
Never mind, I can't over-ride my Pc's security anyway as it might be in too many levels and I don't know which pa

Just made big site update; recommend you clear your cache
I finally found and fixed the other problem some people have been reporting -- a missing Reply button in private messages.
That error was caused by the dreaded IE6. That web browser is becoming a major problem to continue supporting, and this latest problem is a great example of what IE6 users will begin to face -- with NO SOLUTION -- some time in the near future.
It is simply becoming too much effort to continue tracking down these errors that are happening merely because that terrible we

Tennessee may cap lottery winnings at $600 for poor
I certainly don't agree with people abusing a system and defrauding usout of our money. You should have reported the fraud. Personally I'venever seen anyone on food stamps driving a cadilac or an SUV with 25inch rims (smaller tires are better people... think), but I'm sure ithappens.
In Re:
You come to my city , the City of Pittsburgh and I will take you for a short drive thru ALL the projects and lower economic neighborhoods and show you these Cadillacs, SUV'S .The people in th

Lottery win opens doors for N.Y. doorman
myturn writes: Maybe not, but if you have a good lawyer who can make a case that anonymity is important for your safety and security, they may see things differently. It is only if winners continue to seek anonymity, that lotteries will come around.
IMHO, this is really silly. I alway wonder why this is such a big issue on the board. Of course, I'd rather claim my money anonymously, but why would I fight the system? After all, it's a voluntary game and the rules are very clear. Todd pos

Questions about security and distribution
I'm a new member from Pennsylvania - don't even have any clever end quote yet - and I'm wondering about something in regard to instant scratch off games. Perhaps someone can help?
Let's take a $10 game that has 8 top prizes of $250,000. I'm assuming whatever company creates these for the states runs off the entire lot of tickets at once, somehow sprinkling in the top prizes along the way (exactly how they do that is also a bit of a mystery to me).
Does someone decide how the big prize tick

Record China Lottery winner collects prize in disguise
The Chinese lottery player who won the highest sports lottery, 82.34 million yuan (US $11.76 million), in China's lottery history collected his prize on Sunday under police guard.
On Sunday morning, the lottery winner, who calls himself Lao Yang, arrived alone at the lottery center in Chongqing, the country's largest municipality, disguised in a mask, wig, hat and sunglasses.
The lottery center took additional measures to ensure his security. Staff members opened a secret passage for him a

Winner of New York's biggest lottery jackpot sold himself the ticket
I must comment on the this story and I too am not in favor of retailers being able to play the NY State Lottery. Here is why:
Most people are not aware that to speed up the cashing process of tickets (this is according to the NYS Lottery commision) no part of the front of any NY Instant Lottery ticket needs to be exposed. They calim to have built in security measures to keep dishonest retailers from cheating the system. They also claim that they can not reveal what type of system they use.

Info On RNG'S
Predicting winning lottery numbers is going to be hard no matter what, but it is much worse due to the lottery operators and their pre-tests, after all they quit selling numbers at least 30 minutes before the draws, that gives the lottery people 30 minutes, they should quit selling numbers 10 minutes before the draws.
This is a common question from lottery players. Why stop selling so early? Lotteries used to sell up until a few minutes before draw time, and then hold the drawing. The P

Hoosier Lottery
I think Jimmy and Floyd are the voices of reason here in this thread and I thank both of them for their rational contributions.
I agree that a string of long roll overs in and of itself does not mean a lotto game is rigged. The point that I am trying to make is when you consider everything...a string of long roll overs...non-televised, RNG drawings...a proven history of lottery corruption...(which I have detailed ad nauseum)...a rigged scratch off game (the Foreman scandal)...a game in which
