Fl Monopoly Second Chance Drawing
I am up to 2700 entires for the second drawing. I have never seen so many losing scratchers than in the past 2 weeks. I only buy $5, $10 and $20 because of the better odds but man they are flooding us with losing scratchers. The only plus to the losers is the second chance but I have never had any luck in the past but maybe I can pick up something this time around.

Mathematics and the Lottery
Jimmy
The reason they do so well is that most players rely on chance. It goes back to the 10 marbles and the
paper bag experiment which is all one needs to understand chance, odds and probability. It is almost
mechanical in nature and just like the lottery the results will follow the rules +/- some small deviation given
time. You may select the correct marble 3 thime in a row but it was still a product of chance. As you know I
don't think about the current draw in terms of numbers

A "Slot" to Think About
While at the casino this weekend I was thinking about casino gambling in relation to the lottery. Of course your mind knows the odds you're up against in any game of chance.... but it really hits home when you sit in front of a machine. If you've ever wondered why it takes so long to win something or why you haven't won anything yet ever in the lottery you might want to think of this scenario.....
Imagine driving a couple of hours to your local Indian casino. Or hopping a plane to Vegas, Reno

Who has entered more than 1000 2nd chance replay tickets?
I believe youre right about the odds being so high and i wish there was away to find out just exactly how many replay tickets had been entered for the drawing. I think of it like this a loosing ticket gives me an opportunity to win 1000. I have 1800 opportunities now. LOL

Anyone out there playing strictly high #'s on their tickets?
Floyd my old pal.
I've won 4x5 twelve times, so I'm not doing THAT bad.
We have also discussed eliminating entire pools of numbers, such as ignoring 1-10, or ignoring 50-59, so whatever works for you my friend, I just tend to play the odds that are wide open for anyone to see.
Back to the topic:
First, you have to hope a game such as yours (all high numbers) plays, and then you have to pick the correct high numbers. I'm not saying it cannot be done - you will almost never hear me say

Mathematics and the Lottery
I would like to believe math has a lot to capturing wins at all levels. However, since many of the states converted their drawings from mechanical to RNG ( random number generator) computer, I want to say that unless you are in that very small circle of people who conduct the drawings much of the math is similar to luck. Extremely high odds against the player in lotto games.

The biggest mistake people make is:
I think the biggest mistake people make is not knowing the game, the numbers that hit the most/least the odds vs evens, not knowing which group shows up more/less the way the game commission set it up and keep changing it...I have read that some balls show up more because they get handled alot but what about the ball out for 30 games ???
