I'm really surprised there's been nothing over $10 in your roll, omiller. I think a $20 or more must be coming or it's a particularly bad roll. Odds of $20 are 1 in about 66 for that game.

That is pitiful. I would take them to the lottery and see what they could do. That is beyond unreasonable. I would think all packs should pay back 40% minimum, but I guess they have to offset the big winners somehow. I have been flip flopping back and forth about my theory on random or same games. I think on one hand the lottery odds suck that bad you have to stay on one game and maybe one location to play the safest. The more you jump around, the better chance of keep coming up with losers.

Play smaller games that has better odds. Save the million dollar games for later when you have won some from smaller ones. Or when the jackpot is at all time high. Do your fishing at smaller pond that has more little fish than at an ocean for one huge fish.

I can understand if someone gets a QP for a buck and has no clue they won, but for $20 that's something you remember. Maybe the person died or was in an accident, moved or went to jail. PA Lotto just has to announce it, so nobody can say they didn't. Good luck on the July 9 draw. Best odds to become a millionaire, 1 in 125,000. Very good.

seems like your doing pretty good on the Mustangs. I'm hesitant to play them because of the crappy 1:4.52 odds. I never did like those scratchers with prizes and such, Phillies , Harleys, etc... I'm thinking less money for players because of the use of their logo or something.

As trucritic said that question has been asked and answered before and it was concluded the odds are the same. Chances are good either way you're going to lose you $5 however spending a dollar per drawing will make it last longer.

I'm back to little spending again. 3 Diamond Millionaires today (#008, #017 #018) all lost. I guess it was too much to hope the new games would produce 2 good days in a row. Eventually the bad odds in PA just catch up with you.

Changes coming to Powerball multi-state lottery game in JanuaryReply
I have the opportunity to play every Powerball draw, but I choose not to because of the low expected value. The two main games in Canada are Lotto 649 at $2 per ticket and Lotto Max at $5 per ticket. The ticket costs are more in line with the odds of the game and therefore usually a better expected value. There have been two occasions (rare given how long the game has been around) where a Lotto 649 draw had an expected value of over 100%.

This is just an easy way for lottery officials to double their money at the players expense. I have got to win Powerball this year. When the changes go in effective I will no longer play powerball. I will just have settle for the jackpot in the Florida Lotto with better odds. At least it will still cost $1 and I don't have worry about matching the powerball.
