Dividing the 5/39 odds by 20 to arrive at 28788 to one just doesn't work (or dividing by any other number.) IF IT DID, with the over 100,000 members on this board we could all pitch in $1 every Pick 5 drawing and split every jackpot available. Why stop at $20? Just keep sending it in until you have an even money bet. IT DOESN'T WORK. If it did no house would be bookinng the action. True but to get those odds, you betting for a prize of $100,000 or nothing at all while a 5/39 game top prize may be greater than $100,000 or you could also win one of the smaller prizes.

Its kind of unfair to an extent in my area cause out of 18 active $5 scratch offs I can only buy 8 or 9 of them in my area, and id be lucky to find a retailer selling me a roll of half of those ... the major stores only carry the 4 newest games. I want to buy some of the older stuff as I feel my odds would be better

the odds are better buying rolls. look at it this way you can walk in with $200 bucks get random tickets of each game out there and lose on every ticket. its happened to me before. but with rolls at least you get something back and you have more chances at a big winner...

When i have the extra money $100-200 a week, it definately gets addicting. Especially with all the winners that have been around my area 3,000,000 Monopoly winner, 1,000,000 Color of money winner, a few 250,000 winners. Theres always that thought in your head with every stroke of the quarter is this it lol. 99.999% of the time its a let down, but i suppose your not really meant to make money off the odds they give yah...Hopefully soon i'll become one of the lucky ones...

Im stuck on winning $100 i know theres nothing wrong with that lol but it's getting frustrating.... 20X the cash $100, Cash Bonaza $100, BDB 100 X 2, Bass pro shops $100, Cruise For cash $100, 100K a year for life $100 i even won $100 on Seasons Gold $1 ticket odds were 1:4,800 i wish i could transer towards a $1,000 winner on a $20 ticket lol just seems like im stuck on $100 i cant wait to break the $100 barrier.

Riddle me this, Batman: Convince me I have a better chance of winning a jackpot if the odds are one million to one, let alone 198 million to one? How about 1,000 to one? Even 25 to one? It's even a decent bet that if I let you choose if the odds were TEN to ONE you would not get the right number. Lottery is a game of extreme CHANCE, fueled by a DREAM, no more, no less.

I actually got the very last 888 ticket and went to put it in 10 times and i got one back and it said liability limit thankful i got one.man i lucked out what are the odds of that know if it comes in at least i have it once.I guess ny is feeling 888's i wont be surprised we get 101 or repeat 100 tonight either i got em in anyway.
