Hope the guy espousing scam next to you at the store appreciates the Fun to Lose Concept ...I can, is why I scratch my tickets fully rather than just scratch and check the bar code, lol, but I will say it's funner (more fun ) to win. Either way keep the nice wins coming!!

Thank you, you hit a home run. Announcers make mistakes, the auditor is supposed to verify the number before it goes to the data entry person and no payouts are ready until the data is entered and confirmed . So how much was paid out before 10 am? was that higher than normal? If so was there a fix(scam) or is it just like Tony said many people getting paid to do a job and in stead they're just calling it in? Some really stinks with this story and seems the reporter phoned it in also.

Buying more tickets does increase the chances of winning and apparently LottoLishus is a pool using Lustig's name and those players split the winnings probably after the owners take their share off the top. Pooling lottery tickets is not my thing so I won't be registering and never know if it's legit or a scam.

Well that certainly shatters the myth that somehow free tickets are a scam. This myth is prevalent in my state and to me has never made sense. When I worked at a lottery retailer I used to get people every week telling me to just keep the free ticket for our Tennessee Cash draw game. I kept them in a basket under the counter. There is nothing special about this strategy. Anyone can simply play 50 to 100 Pick 4 numbers at any time to see if they win box or straight. And nobody needs to send you $40 to get the numbers either. If you were making a profit after all those losses you would not need to keep trying to get people to pay a membership fee. Another scam. They do news stories here all the time about people trying to scam the lottery. Eddie Tipton for one. I wouldn't worry one bit about getting banned here because you posted a story about it. There are people that have been here for over 10 years that are still considered new members . So don't worry about your number of posts. You're good!!

The man was luckier than he even knows. Not only did he claim the ticket one day before it expired, he was also lucky the clerk didn't try to scam him.
