Maryland Lottery Pick 4 drawing generates huge payout
Wouldn't the odds of 1-2-3-4-5 the same as 2-14-23-27-33, though? I mean each number has the same chance of hitting as the next.

What motivates you to choose a scratcher?
I'm playing to preferably win 10,000 to 1Mil. I do look at well if I spend $5.00 I can win 100,00 but I would rather spend 10 or 20 for the chance for 1Mil. I care about the game, whether it scratches easy enough. Examples of games that I disliked immediately was Green Hornet, when I got two tickets and the first one had a row of my winning numbers' on the first ticket and on the 2nd ticket it had two rows of two (of which I didn't even see the second row for quite some time), I just thought tha

Post your scratch ticket results
eh i would take that back....in new york almost all our $5 scratchers have $1 million jackpots but the odds are worse even for the small prizes. i usually buy 1 ticket after another until i hit something...many times i have bought over 10 in a row for the $5 scratchers and end up with a small prize.

Hi Everyone...Need help with our Lottery Club in Florida
Thanks for the information. There are 10 people in the club. Some are couples and single people. No one really cares what we play. I was trying to play the games with the least odds. We have won 24.00, which I still have. I am going to find out if everyone wants to just buy more tickets. I was just asking for suggestions on how to break up the tickets.

50/50 Theory
RJOH, what you say is true dealing with the odds of the game.
But it is also true that one either wins or loses. YHou already know when there are only two possible outcomes the chance is 50/50.
Even with a 1:4 chance, the individual still has a 50/50 chance because he/she will either win or lose. Those are the only possible outcomes, since the lottery doesn't offer ties.
Do those odds change for any one individual because 50 million people hold tickets? Not at all. Since those people a

50/50 Theory
Where did you come up with that theory? I've never seen it on any official lottery website or play slip, not even on a scratch-off ticket which usually claims the best odds of all,1:4. You need to get you lottery information from a more reliable source.

Powerball lottery jackpot increased to $184 million
Yeah I don't go pay attention to the astronomical odds of winning. There were 17 jackpots won in 2010 for Powerball and at least 11+ jackpots won in each of the previous years. And pretty much the same goes for Mega Millions. So you could expect at least 20+jackpot wins between both games this year. Someone is going to win, that's guaranteed. So say to yourself, it could be me!

Powerball lottery jackpot increased to $184 million
I normally play 1 set of my own numbers and let the computer pick the rest Still i come up short, I have been playing big games since i was about 18 years old and im 30 now. There is no odds to me it is all about geographical areas 95% of the time! I can spend $100 million on tickets and still lose. It is cruel but fair.I am thankful to have the dream and the chance.

State vs Powerball vs Mega
NoShame
We used to have a member here that thought he had a good case against the Hoosier Lottery. Indiana lawyers told him he moght have something (this was according to him) but since the state licenses them they wouldn't touch it. Ao he went to Chicago and those lawyers told him he might have something, but they weren't licensed in Indiana.
As for the state games vs PB and MM, personally I'd rather play the Powerplay and Megaplier. If you hit 5 + 0 you get $1,000,000 and the PB and MM o
