The odds just get worse and worse with each new ticket that gets released. When $5 and $10 tickets used to be 1 in 2.95 I was making profit. You just cant anymore when 1 in every 5 tickets win. Have to hope for that big winner these days or go home empty handed.

betslips doesn't offer the games I want to play, the ohio classic lotto and the canadian 6/49. Both are a 1 in 14 million odds and their jackpots are over $20 mil.

So far this year I've played 20 times and had a winning ticket 10 of those times but I'm down $276. When the overall odds of having a winning tickets are 1/36 - 1/54 and you spend $10 - $20 each time you play, even it you have a winning ticket (worth $2 - $10) every time you play, you're going to end up in a hole unless you win one of the higher tier prizes.

Unless its a hot roll, he's gonna lose (per the published odds). Don't forget that these new scratchers are to distract us from buying older scratchers. These new scratchers have LESS prize money compared to the older ones.

Thanks Luis. I usually dont play the $10 scratchers but the odds are not that much worse then the $20 scratchers. I might start playing them more now !!

I didn't play today, but being focused on the low sum I (we?) forgot to look at the other side of the spectrum 9989, oh man. NJ had 8999 a few days ago and I wanted to buy a town car off some guy for guess how much? that's right 8999, man what a kick in the arse. It's the same odds as 0001 coming out. NOW we should look for a very low sum, 000x (combo it PLEASE!)..
