Poaching for winning tickets
I think a few states have this already...Colorado has it as well, they call it 'second chance drawing', and it's usually for the grand prize that was offered in the scratch-offs. If you mail in your ticket or enter the ticket # online, they'll do a drawing after they've pulled the tickets. I've heard that you've got pretty good odds of winning because not everyone enters. At least the losing tix have a chance at winning something.

How many different stores do you buy Scratch tickets from?
Pretty good with the Lucky for Life. Expected with Gold Rush if you just stick to 1 ticket odds are you will hit $500 soon with GR. Right now im yet to even win $100 with FMC. GR and BDB the most common winners.

New $20.00 ticket " Florida Millionaires Club"
I have bought a total of four tickets... won nothing. I'm going to stick to Gold Rush. At least the odds of winning $500 are 1:175 instead of 1:500.

How many different stores do you buy Scratch tickets from?
I'd like to find a lucky store as well, that's why I expanded my search ring of stores to buy from. I think that is a better strategy, going after more locations. But that is debatable. For regular lottery pick/draw games, it really doesn't matter which store you buy from, as everything is drawn centrally and the store has no influence on the outcome. Yeah, I know that every time the Mega Millions gets huge, the local news always does a big story on some lucky store that sold a few multi-mill

Small Jackpots vs Big Jackpots
Which is the best time to play the lottery for you and why? Are the odds greater for you if the jackpot is higher or lower? Do you prefer playing for smaller jackpots to avoid publicity? Do you only play when the jackpot is huge? How often do you play your preffer jackpot and how many tickets would you buy? Share your thoughts here.

I bought an entire book of $20 GA tickets - $3,000,000 Taxes Paid
You got that one right! I went to claim the $130 of my winnings tonight at a QuickTrip. I was going to get some more there, but my gut really strongly objected to the idea for some reason. I turned in $90 worth, meaning to turn in $100 worth (they will only pay out up to $100 cash, After that it is a money order, which I did not feel like dealing with). Against my better judgement, I asked if I could turn in the remaining $40 ticket for more scratch offs. The clerk said no, and went into this lo

Post your scratch ticket results
My memory could fail me but when we got the first $20 tickets here in Florida ( Gold Rush ) the odds of winning were 1 in 1.95. Now they are 1 in 2.95

Consecutive losing tickets
I would never buy a $2,000 roll. You would need a $1,000 and a couple of $500 winners just to break even. The odds are strongly against that.

How would you design a game so more people win?
Games like Pick5 with better odds have winners all the time. Facts are they are so easy to win that their jackpots hardly ever go over $500K cash. If that $500K cash was used to buy a 30yrs annuity, it could be advertised as a million dollar jackpot, but most winners would probably prefer cash.
