3 Million Monopoly (Florida Lottery $20)
There was a $3MM winner 30 minutes north of me that is the sole reason I DON'T play this game. Odds are against another jackpot in the immediate vicinity.

Gold Rush (Florida Lottery $20)
Only play this game if you want to hit $100 or $500 as the game is notorious for spitting out winners in those amounts. Otherwise I would stay away from this game because the jackpot is the lowest of any $20 scratchers and the odds of hitting it are not that good.

Heads or Tails
I agree with you, I agree with coin toss and I agree with Jimmy..........But you cannot forget of the biased trend. Sooner or later the opposite has to hit, if it wasn't going to happen then it will not be 1/2 odds.(50/50 means in the long run they should almost have the same amount of appearances, even if they are off by some decimal points)

Played through $20 Florida Millionaire's Club roll today
I personally believe that the odds posted are false. I used to win when this game originally debuted. The new Billion Dollar Blockbuster tickets are shinier also now EVERY retail station has them, this was not the case before........

Played through $20 Florida Millionaire's Club roll today
The only thing that keep me playing BDB are the amount of jackpots. To me this ticket has the worst odds of any $20 scratcher out there.

A Lotto Expectations
I chose P-3 straight, even though I should've picked P-3 box. I've said this a thousand times and I will say it another thousand times. Like you say, it's nice to dream, but the reality is that if someone can't beat the P-3 straight on a regular basis which is only 1000 to 1, how in the world is someone going to beat a JP game odds once? Florida Fantasy Five is about 376,000 to 1 odds, 376 times harder than the P-3 straight. And that's a low ball estimate of easier JP games. If you want to ta

Poaching for winning tickets
Haha ! As a player this does become a major turn off and your luck starts to dwindle afterwards. But I imagine for the troll it does increase his odds of purchasing a winning ticket. Kind of like those immigrant gas station owners who claim millions in lottery wins annually from their own stores after watching droves of customers lose on tickets.

MADDOG'S Powerball Challenges (Discussion)
It can be shown that when using a smaller pool of numbers, if by chance three or more of the winning numbers are in it, IF! maybe a pool of 24 WB and 8 PB is more likely to have all the winning numbers thus reducing the odds of winning the jackpot to 1:340032 when that happens. Of course (8*C(24,5)) tickets gives you [MANY] more chances to win than (4*C(12,5)) ticket purchases. But don't forget, those many more tickets are not free, and must be used in calculating your odds, costs,

What's with NY Sweet Million??
I agree, the way things stand right now with Sweet Millions, The NY State Lottery is comming out ahead. That said, sales of SM have been so poor, I dont believe the lottery can be that far ahead of the game. It might even out over the long run, but I dont care if it does or not. The only way it wont even out over time is if sales continue to be so poor that the lottery pulls the game off the market. SM is a good example of the lottery playing public's limited mindset. People do unders

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Typically lottery allocates 50% of the total sales towards prizes and remaining 50% towards education etc. Odds are calculated based on the above. In case of SM, weeks go buy and there is no winner than means lottery is making more than it is paying. Then whenever there is a million dollar winner, it is possible that lottery is paying more than the revenue it earns. Is it fair to say in long run this will even out? meaning lottery will pay 50% of the revenue it earns towards prizes.
