Well when Florida added Powerball, the matrix changed, so I assumed that MM would do the same. If they add MM to Florida w/o changing the odds that would be great!!!

When MegaMillions went from 13 states to 40 states the matrix didn't change so the odds of winning didn't change and yet its jackpots are getting as high as they ever did. The only effects of adding more states have been more winners with jackpots climbing faster. Adding Florida would just make the jackpots climb even faster.

I just saw today that Florida Lottery will be issuing a new scratch-off ticket beginning 01/11/11 featuring the upcoming Green Hornet movie theme on the ticket. The ticket cost $5.00 and the top prize is $200,000.00. No info yet on the odds.

That is a false logic in my opinion. Having to overcome the astronomical odds plays a factor whether it's a system that wins the JP, or a QP. So I would eliminate that one from the equation. How can buying winning lottery tickets as less than their face value and cashing them in for their face value be considered gambling while buying lottery tickets with odds of 1:10 or worst or winning anything is not? Seems like the state needs to change their definition of gambling.

Have you ever won any big $ on these scratch offs? I talked to a dude while buying my tickets on Sat, claims he`s won $200 in the past 2 weeks. Said he spent about $40,and he also won $20 while I was standing there,lol. I `ve never bought any,just wondered about the overall odds of winning....
