Going, Going, Not Gone!
I just looked and it says one more day until the drawing . The Florida Lottery is a class outfit and since they passed the break even point in ticket sales, they will go ahead and guarantee all the prizes. And as Nino said, the odds will be much better for the players.

Poll: Theorhetical situation
I do not play jackpot games because their lower-tier prize payouts are very unfair. I would consider playing them again only if the prize is at least 25% of the odds - I don't care if the jackpots are lower. I play only the Pick-3 and the Pick-4.

Do U Spend More Than $500 A Week On Lottery !!
I agree. $80,000 a year with the p-3?
I don't buy it for one second. Especially when he only buys QPs....
The game pays only half the odds which is 500 bucks with a 1 in 1,000 odds for a straight hit. It's a losing proposition. Unless you have a system that is so finely tuned to hit, there is no way he's making 80 grand a year. I'm not saying the poster is lying, but something just doesn't add up.
On the other hand, I also wonder why anyone would keep spending that much on p-3 everyday,

What do you consider winning when playing Lottery
Hello everyone
If one playes a $1.00 play and hits for a $1.00 return is that winning. Some would say NO,
and others would say YES. I would fall in the yes club because at the very least it allows me
to play again with only $1.00 invested. My ticket cost has droped to 50 cents per ticket.
Lets say that I loose on the second try I still only have $1.00 invested in the two tickets that
otherwise would have costed me $2.00. Now from the point of money returned I have lost $1.00

My digit system for pick-5 or pick-6 lottery
Beware of mistakes.
How to rate predictions and or prediction software.
5/37
5/5 = 435,897
4/5 = 2,724.36
3/5 = 87.88
2/5 = 8.79
1/5 = 2.42
So for Tx, if you get 1 number right out of 5 on 1 line and 0 numbers right on another line, if you played 2 lines, then you did better than by random chance as the odd of that are 2.42.
If you got 2 numbers right on 1 line out of 8 lines played, then you beat random, as the odds of that are 8.79.
If you get 3 numbers right on 1

Possible national jackpot game
I wondered about that too. If they change the matrix to make it harder, or increase the cost of a ticket to $2 (without a megaplier/powerplay) I think they would just have 2 draws a week. If they make it too expensive or too hard to win (like it's not too hard now, LOL), there is the risk of people just moving on to games with lower odds and jackpots.

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
Ohio's Rolling Cash5(5/39) has a jackpot of $660K this week so I'm testing my system on it. With 1949 previous drawings there's a lot of data to work with, in fact it may be more than I can handle since RC5 is a daily game.
One thing that surprised me were that this 5/39 game had more patterns than I've run into with either the PB 5/59 or MM 5/56 matrices which leads me to think that I've only touched the surface with those games.
I usually just play the big jackpot games but when a game h

new idea for megamillions. having better odds of winning
This is proof? I'm sure the numbers low, and high, and vice versa sometimes fall within your parameters, but you still have to pick the right numbers. I doubt it very much that by doing it this way, it will improve your odds of winning by 70 to 80%.

Poll: Jackpot games
I play Rolling Cash5, Classic Lotto, MegaMillions and PowerBall one at a time, usually the one with the best jackpot for its odds. Today that's Rolling Cash5 with a jackpot of $439K. I keep my data files up to date so I'm ready to give my system a workout any time I get the feeling.
