I've never had a reason to believe or saw any evidence the drawings are rigged simply because of the odds of the game and the payoff structure. With 195 million possible combinations, PB would have to sell 20 million tickets for only 10% of the possible combos. With 5,138,133 possible white ball combination there should be about 4 five number matches. It doesn't mean the jackpot can't be hit, but the odds of a rollover greatly favors the house. HOWEVER!!! I've been playing and losing even longer than you but I enjoy playing and dreaming of beating the odds, it's entertainment. If you have doubts about playing the lottery then you would probably be better off to quit and start spending your entertainment dollars on something you enjoy more.

Once out of curiosity, I calculated what the likely median time I had to wait before winning the Texas Two Step if I played five lines per draw twice a week. It worked out to be 2,442 years and the Texas Two Step has odds of 1 in 1.8 million as opposed to Mega Millions 1 in 175 million or PowerBall's 1 in 195 million. 12 years is nothing in terms of lotteries.

The lottery is completely random. For powerball and mega millions, the odds against you winning the jackpot are astronomical, and the drawings are random every time. Winning the jackpot is a matter of luck!

I'd like to see a five number game with a smaller number field and smaller starting jackpot. I know there are some states that have a lottery like this already...like a 1-25 game. That would be nice for me. I would still play the bigger games, but I'd love the odds on a smaller one. I'm always afraid NC is going to add a few extra numbers to Cash 5.

you will get desperate if you play everyday,but like somebody said got to build your own system and patterns how to play,what works for me is to play once or twice a week on pick 3 and never get desperate,and when you hit dont get too excited and spend all what you have earned ,dont ever forget this is a game where you are trying to beat the odds, play smart,good luck,this is my humble opinion
