How do you deal with a near miss?
The odds of matching 4 of 5 in the Carolina Cash 5 are 1 in 3387 and the prize is pari-mutuel. The percentage of the prize pool, I think, hovers around 15%. But still, I think that the prize for 1 in 3387 should be AT LEAST $1,000. I would not mind smaller jackpots if it meant higher payouts for lower prizes in the game.

Numbers you'd complain about?
I don't like QP's, but that is my own personal feeling. As you stated above nobody won either prize level ; therefore no one had a winning ticket QP or otherwise. So what is your point, as it did not come in as a QP. I play consecutive numbers at times, but I would never play all 5 or 6 numbers consecutively. The odds would be against me.

Multi-state lottery jackpots near $100 million mark
Odds don't matter. The chances of anything happening is always the same....50-50. Either a thing will happen or it won't. I WILL WIN!

Red ball starts sunday in ohio
http://www.ohiolottery.com/games/redball/howtoplay.html in a seperate machine there are 7 balls starts out 6 white 1 red and each time a red ball isn't picked a white ball is removed increasing the odds of a red ball getting picked. If a red ball is picked, the prize increases by 20% so at least one in 7 times a red ball will be picked so it will happen a minimum of 4 times during the promotion.

Is it better to quick pick or choose your own #s (PB and MM)?
If you check them with previous drawings, they probably would have won a buck or two in the right drawing, last night just wasn't their time. Odds are their time will come about once every 35 drawings.

You do realize the terminal had only 5,560,464 combinations to pick a winner from while it had 189,688,590 combinations to pick a loser from? That is 18285 to 536 in favor of picking a loser. With those kinds of odds, it would have been hard for you to pick a winner and you have more brains than that terminal will ever have.

Is it better to quick pick or choose your own #s (PB and MM)?
With odds of winning something being 1:40 or better, the chances of winning something with $50 worth of tickets should have been pretty good, but I guess that's why they call it gambling.

Which odds do you like more?
The 1 in 3,003 every 60 days. Because the odds are so much better I would be willing to wait the 60 vs 7 days.

What is your style of lottery play ... Hunter or Trapper?
Hello all! Well, being fresh meat around the forum, I don't feel quite as priviledged as others to input on play styles so I hope you won't mind. The way I see it, everything has its' season and the Pick games are no different IMHO. Trying to play all the time i.e. every draw can be okay but, it's not practical as the drawings often set one up for an easy win. All things being consistent, which is my favorite word in the game, even though the odds are against us we can still play a certain way t
