Multi-state lottery options will expand in 33 statesReply
I am not sure if this has been asked in other threads, but with so many states offering both lotteries, what will that do, if anything, to the odds on each game?

A lotto that gets up well over 100 million where if you are lucky to hit it, you don't pay any taxes? Dude sign me up. When the odds are as high as they are in these types of lotto's, you may as well just play one ticket and hope that the numbers find you.

Suppose that you won a single jackpot of $32 million instead of the two starting jackpots of 12 and 20 million? Or 150 instead of 75 and 75? There's a huge difference in the odds that it would happen, but what's the difference in terms of what you would or wouldn't do with the money?

There is still Sunday, Monday, and Thursday open if states want to hold their own lotto drawing. It may still be viable if they lower the odds.

I agree with most of what you say. The media however is claiming that they do know. I just hope that MM and PB will be kept intact and not replaced by a $2 lottery with ridiculously higher odds, although the odds are already ridiculously high. What Should Your State Do To Improve The Lottery?Reply
For my state, they need to get rid of computer drawings and start using ball drawings. They also should add a Pick 4 game and they need to redo the Pick 5 game. It is horrible. It has bad odds and a horrible payout. I don't want two crappy drawings in one night where the payout is $20,000 with having to pick from 36 numbers. My state needs to look at how other states do their Pick 5 games.

I'd like them to get rid of the computorized drawings . I like to play keno ,but nobody hardly ever wins the 250,000. and the odds are not that bad. I feel like i don't have a chance matching wits with a computor.
