Dual multi-state lottery sales may keep jackpots lower
I think there would be some give and take between MegaMillions and Powerball depending on jackpot levels but I don't think Classic Lotto would take much of a hit. Jackpots are in another class but so are the odds.

A question about lotto system odds
Whether she buys 822 QPs or plays 822 combinations using her own numbers, she has 822 chances out of 13.9 million or 1 chance out of every 17,000 chances. If you look at it another way there are still 13,982,994 combinations she won't have. she only plays a few lines at a time each play, If she is playing less than 100 combos she certainly doesn't have 1 chance out of 17,000 and a few lines means 20 or less to most people. While it's true the odds can be reduced considerably by playing a

The Virus System: Part2: Winning Powerball Same as guessing Pick3?
but if you use key number wheels let s say: 2 key wheels from 1-40 the odds are: 1 in 780 as opposed to: 1 in 659,000... 2 in 80 odds... do they got key abbreviated wheels? There should be...hypothetically speaking it should exist...There also be: 2 Key number wheel optimization again hypothetically it should exist... is more of a math issue/problem than a wheel issue/problem... i think i ve heard the Spanish soap operas on TV talk more about lottery wheels than find on the internet

N.Y. Mega Millions lottery winners claim prize
I know what the odds are, I am not stupid...I know you have to increase your chances by what ever means...but it is very boring to just have no emotion about playing...that is where I was coming from.

Powerball helps Florida Lottery cover losses
Why would they make the games easier to win when people voting with their money prove time and again that they prefer big jackpots with steep odds to comparatively modest prizes with better odds? Players reduced their plays on the state lotto game by $275 million but spent 64% more than that on powerball. They might not be the same players, but if your costs are the same it would be a pretty poor business decision not to trade a customer who spends $275 for one who spends $430. As players it's

I said before and I will say it again...
If the idea is to have more large jackpots to attract more players then it's all good. Players who prefer to play for a smaller jackpot with better odds will still support the game.
