Do you guys think the mega millions and maybe powerball is rigged?
What kind of congress can you expect when they're elected by people who think the lottery needs to be rigged in order to keep 100 million people from all beating odds of 1 in 141?

What is your Lottery Post posting signature? Why did you choose it?
I chose mine because it's what I believe and reply every time someone tells me how stupid it is to play the lottery because of the odds and my chances of winning.

No, I don't think either game is rigged. The odds are so big on both games, that there is no need to rig them. Plus, there are so many number combinations, that there are going to be a lot of times, when no one wins the top prize and there will be a rollover.

All Things Considered, Which Is The Better Game - PB or MM?
Itseems that Powerball grows faster and I like the fact that you can payan extra buck and get a bigger payout for all but the Jackpot plays.
i kind of notice what you mean by appears to be faster growth , its a all lie thro
if mega millions and powerhad has the same cash jackpot,
Powerball Would appear to be Mucher larger then MM jackpot thx to longer Annuity for Marketing!
30pb vs mm 25 years annuity
trust me, with more money going to jackpot prize pool per tick

Do you guys think the mega millions and maybe powerball is rigged?
I personally don't think it's rigged but the last 2 MM draws raises questions. What are the odds of 1 draw consisting of all odd numbers and then the next draw to consist of all even numbers???

Odd Mega Numbers
You've missed some of the results. MM started in September '96 and the first all odd result was 1,23,25,39,43 + 19 on May 30, 1997. The next drawing was all even (2,8 20,22,32 +8). All told I count 16 that you missed. I dodn't pay attention to which were odd or even, but the total of all odd and all even results is 34. Since the game started there have been about 1310 drawings, and the proportion of all odd or even results has been roughly the same, at about 1 in 38. Dividing 1310 drawings by 38

Idaho Lottery's $1 million raffle almost sold out
PA should claim they are about sold out too pretty soon as they always do. With this recession I doubt they actually sell out, unless they buy the rest out themselves. Just once I would like to see them draw from about half or less of the expected tickets so my chances increase. I have to see it that though as the lottery wants to keep the odds as high as possible. OR they will just pull the extended draw crap so that all of them sell.

Is there a limit on the number of winning tickets you can redeem from one drawing in your state?
No, and I hope not. The odds already a huge factor from keeping the players gets their winnings, don't need another fire loop to jump through.
