irish lottery
Hi, im looklin for some advise on the irish lottery, in Ireland we have 3 draws 2 times a week, it is a 6/45 draw and then we have a bonus ball, we can bet on 1 number at odds of 5/1 and 2 numbers at 35/1 , as there is 3 draws we have 21 numbers including the bonus balls , are there any methods for forcasting the numbers of 1 or 2 balls , any advise would be welcome, thanks

Need some advice
To KY: The odds do not change unless the number of tickets change. If it is a good bet or not, is another issue.

Need some advice
sigh Now it's reasoning, huh? As I and Grovel pointed out, 15,000 to 1 odds is 15,000 to 1 odds, regardless of how you twist it. Not gonna argue with you on this further. I know when I'm right Thanks for your input though, I guess. -Jim

There is a local developer raffling one of their homes away for a charity organization. $100 buys you a ticket, and 15,000 will be sold (thus the odds are 15,000 to 1). The home has an assessed value of about $300,000. I was thinking of buying a ticket. The problem is I will have to take a mortgage out on the home to the tune of about $100,000 to pay the IRS since gambling winnings are taxed as income. Still, a $100K mortgage on a $300K home is pretty darn good. I was thinking of taking it

Have you had a winner with one of those "white line" tickets?
You have the same odds of winning (or losing) on a white stripe ticket as you do on another other ticket in that book of tickets. Same for the first or last ticket, ticket number 4, ticket number 23, or ticket number whatever...

Me neither. This is gonna be a peace of cake. Look at this way, the odds are lower than the Lotto and megamillions.

Time to post my PB logic:
also, guesser, i was studying your method, and the odds substantially improve, if you consider reversals of a number, like let's say number 42-10-31-40-41, i would consider the reversal of 31 which is 13 to see if the age of number 31 have expire, ie, 13 could have hit 3 games down the road, therefore i would not choose 31 as a number because it had expired as the number 13! if i'm making any sense!
