Question for the Ohio guys about Classic Lotto
I know the overall odds of winning anything in the Ohio Classic Lotto are 1:53.6 and for MegaMillions are 1:39.8, but I just didn't realize I would notice that much difference when I played.

Why is the cash option different for MM and PB?
The annuities are structured differently, with the Powerball annuited being paid in graduated installments - the payment increasing over time. Basically the annuity is a worthless concept and is merely marketing. Powerball messed with the structure to hype its advertising. You are supposed to think 220 million but the real prize is not the equivalent of the 220 million Mega Millions jackpot. The cash value is what counts, and represents the actual prize for either lottery. The real way

Preferred Casinos NJ/PA
Good Morning LP family- just trying to get the scoop on good casinos to hit up while I'm visiting South Jersey this weekend. I did ok in AC last year, but I'm thinking of venturing over to Pennsylvania to check out their resorts. I know the slots have the worst odds but I have fun playing them. Any suggestions you all may have in between barbeques will be appreciated!

Mega Millions lottery winner proved his wife wrong

MI and OH need new games
Ohio has a unique situation now with its Classic Lotto game. It's a pick6/49 game with a $23M jackpot which is one of the top 10 jackpots in the country with the best odds of a win. If this doesn't encourage tickets sales, nothing will. I doubt if anyone connected with the lottery is interesting in changing that.

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
With any MegaMillions combination when you say it's not a winner, odds are 40:1 you're right. Buying someone elses mistakes makes you more right.

Not winning.
Playing the lotteries is gambling and when you gamble, losing in part of the game. You know or should know the odds of losing when you buy your tickets.

Tough States to Win In
The odds of winning a pick3 or pick4 game are the same in every state. The states with more winners have more players which proves if they don't play, they can't win.
