Powerball now has the potential...Reply
While it can hit a new jackpot level I doubt it will this jackpot run. Remember Megamillions added a larger state and increased it's odds but did not have a record jackpot until 21 months later.

I think i know,how this guy is winning,but i am not 100% sure.As someone mention already,odds of hitting cash5 jackpot in Colorado are pretty good.In my state Illinois odds of hitting 100,000$ starting jackpot are 1:575,757 and his ods are 1:201,376.Jackpot is much lower,but odds are much better.Another thing is that chances to hit 4 out of 5 numbers in cash 5 ( 200$ winner) are 1;1492 and in my state Illinois if you got 4 out of 5 you get 100$ and chances are 1: 3,387.So it is much

Again, it matters to some people not everyone. We're not going to agree that the jackpot is the only thing that matters in a game. Some of us would like to have an actual chance at winning a jackpot, some us don't care if the odds are a billion to one. And really, I don't care what most people think. It's what I think that matters to me.

Colorado also has the PowerBall, maybe one day we'll read about Tadeusz Krupa winning it several times. Now that would really get a lot of people attention,especially with the new odds.

You'll get over it, and maybe this will help. There is no such thing as close in the lottery. They draw balls, not numbers. You matched two balls on 2 of 5 plays. Since one of those included the power ball match you beat the odds, even if you didn't beat them completely.

Even with Florida there was no reason to really raise the odds that much other than the obvious reason they did it. It's very disproportionate to how much business Florida is likely to bring in. If I remember correctly, all the states (and territories) combined that are a part of the Powerball game still don't come close to the total population that of the handful of states that make up Mega Millions.

Well, it is closer for those on the Gulf Coast to go to Florida, rather than Louisiana. Now all we need is a MegaMillions in Mississippi or Alabama. The odds are always high! Just waiting for the fairy to sprinkle dust this way. FOTFL.

If I only had a buck to spend, I would probably go with the game with the better odds of winning something. So, I would choose the Pick 5 game. Plus, I like Pick 5 games.
