A comment on the new Powerball Expectation Values.
Unfortunately, I won't be. I may put in a dollar or two every now and then, but I now will be focusing on games with better odds.

A comment on the new Powerball Expectation Values.
In the old 5/55 form of Powerball, the expectation value for the lower prizes - the sum of the payouts for each prize divided by its odds was 0.20 total. (This ignores the Powerplay, which I never play). The new expectation value for the lower prizes has FALLEN to 0.17, meaning that the powerball - even though the probability of winning ANY prize is slightly higher - is actually, predictably, a worse bet than before. The expectation value for the jackpot varies with the jackpot, and is a f

Sharing my pick 3 system.
777 probably isn't worth it. But if a sum of 14 is due, or a 3 and a 6, or a 3 and a 5, or a 5 and a 6, or 2 odds and an even that have 1 of those digits due. Definitely! (Froze to death, I like that.) Good luck.

Powerball sales cut-off time
If the lottery is random, how can your numbers possibly have a better chance than a QP, or anybody else's numbers? The only reason to avoid QP's is to try to reduce the chances of having a combination that is played by somebody else. You have no chance to increase your odds over others, but you do have a chance to increase your chances of being a sole winner. OTOH, there isn't a lottery game out there where there will be thousands of QP's with the same numbers, as there are with a few combinatio

Win Daily
I'm not too familiar w/online lotteries yet, I have only heard of 10 dimes or something, and betslips or something. Hopefuly they're legal in Virginia, I'm interested in them and might try them soon. How does one find out if it's legal for me to play them? As for having one number that can work like a master key, it is not supposed to happen, though it may in a blue moon. In Virginia, Pick2 (The Pairs Game), is played using the Pick3 result. The closest thing I can think of is that if 33

Powerball lottery to have larger jackpot, but harder to win
The Powerball lottery game will be going through some changes beginning in January, including having a larger starting jackpot that is more difficult to win. Starting on Jan. 4, Florida will join the 30 United States lotteries that now offer Powerball, adding a population of 18.8 million to those who have the chance to play the game. The starting jackpot will jump from $15 million to $20 million, the world's largest starting jackpot for a lotto-style game. In addition, the average jackpot
