Countdown to Powerball in Florida
It isn't that bad, but in a way it is because the odds are insane so now its going to be harder to win with another state added and white balls add and PB's removed. I will still play though. I must win!

Countdown to Powerball in Florida
I think I'll stick to the games I already play in Florida. I already spend too much as it is. I think the odds of winning are way too high.

Countdown to Powerball in Florida
For me, I am basically done with Powerball. I am not happy about the matrix change. I know there are people who are apparently happy with the thought of more 200 million and 300 million dollar jackpots, but I can't see why one would be happy to see the odds of the game going up. It's hard enough as it is to win anything in the first place (and that includes lower prizes), so now we get more numbers? I think it sucks.

207 Million over.
But if only 9 people win and they print a million tickets, that meansthat 999,991 people will not win the grand prize. That's less than99.9%. And there you have it. It isn't how many people lose, it's the likelihood of winning or losing that matters. If there were a worldwide lottery where everybody had 1 ticket, you could have 3 billion losers, but everybody would have a 50% chance of being one of the winners. What matters more? A 50% chance of winning, or having 3 billion losers? It's the

I Sure Stirred Up A Hornet's Nest
Yes, how long do we play them for? Do we just keep playing the same set of 9 numbers until one of them hits? Or, are there indicators that tell you when to play them? Odds are, that if I pick 9 random numbers and play in box form, I will win probably within the month if I play them every night, but that's not really a system unless you can say on this date, or between these dates, I need to play these 9 numbers . Sorry if I'm hardheaded.

which game is better to play ?
Well with the odds and prizes exactly the same for both, it's simply your opinion. There is no proving one is better than the other.

I Sure Stirred Up A Hornet's Nest
Shouldn't take no more then a week. The odds are still running in the states. Tn has 2 more from that set. Somehow that 579 has capture my attention.

what are the odds
To win $500 in a pick3 game you have to hit a straight with a $1 ticket. Playing 10 straights for 28 days cost $280 and you're more likely to spend more than $500 by the time you win that much unless you're lucky because your odds of winning (1:100) are the same every day, they don't improve as you lose unless you spend more.

$170 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot raised
Even at $20,000,000, I would say you're getting a pretty good fair value for your ticket. The whole point of the lottery is to give people who aren't rich that one little chance of becoming rich - all on a whim. That's why the odds are so high. Why shouldn't it be that high? I mean, if you win, most of your financial troubles can potentially be taken care of. You can retire and buy all kinds of stuff.

me too!!! i think the less and less we play pick 3 the quicker they will bring the pick 4...based on the article i was reading....a .50 bet wins at LEAST $100 in the pick 4...much better odds.
