Pick 4 - The 4 out of 7 Technique
Good idea. I like it and will try it. It is cheaper than playing the SINGLE method but you basically are just playing 100/1 odds still. I am about to back test and see what hits most etc...

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
We're doing ok for Powerball, bit of a roller coaster though. Since I have recently switched the WB picks up for a higher amount (45 instead of 30 numbers, more emphasis on filtering) it is going to take some adjusting before it settles in nicely. Hopefully before the odds increase by 50 million, ha.

Well I can't say what the odds are but I know this does happen from time to time throughout the states. Personally, I like repeats cause it directs me to a hit.

Texas Lottery confirms that Quick Picks are not generated by "central computer"
I can't speak about other states, but I do believe that Texas is one of the most open states when it comes to the lottery. The website has tons of info on it, as well as transcripts from the monthly meetings. Do they have occasional problems? Sure. Name me any government agency that doesn't.
The fact of the matter is that the lottery (at least in TX) is in existence to make money for public education, and they make that pretty clear. I just can't see the sense in lotteries rigging things beca

Tenn. Lottery CEO blames lagging sales on Powerball
someone mentioned the fact that this lotto plus game has went all this time and hasn't been won one time.i think it went years in indiana that way but of course when you have computer draws the odds get thrown out of wack as far as the jackpot being hit.with games like lotto it would get hit more often when the balls are being dropped because the computer draws are just manipulated to bring in higher jackpots so more people will spend more money which goes into the state coffers.

What's highest amount you would put on a number?
I think the best approach is to focus on what one expects to collect rather than how much one bets. For example suppose I feel that 477 will play within the next 10 drawings, and my objective is to collect one thousand dollars, I would have to combo it for 3 dollars X 2 =6 X 10 = 60.00. Repeat four more times if necessary and draw the line at 300.00. This is a balanced money management system that works out in the long run at 3 to 1 odds.

What's your lotto play style??
I think all lotto is high risk with odds in the tens of millions and above. But I still play the same numbers I played a year ago, except I only play $10 instead of $15 so its lower than what it was.

Florida Lottery Holiday Millionare Raffle
Is anyone else planning on playing this? I plan on getting one tomorrow, maybe 4 more next month if they don't sell out. Seems to be pretty good odds on winning at least $500
