Considering the high odds Megamillions hasn't had a really large jackpot since Febuary. I think the only large jackpot left this year will be the Euromillions bouns drawing on 9.26.08. After that I doubt any pot will break $170 million in cash until next year.

I like the idea of the 'pooling', BUT, taking it in the context that Powerball is changing in January to make the odds even LONGER to win, I have mixed feelings if I want to dump even one more dollar into the sport (in additon to/on top of what I already spend).

jusus27360....thanks...but due to your circumstance I would advise you to buy the gas. While an interview is not a sure thing I do believe that taking a gamble on numbers is a bit more risky. Borrow 5 more dollars and go to the interview. Your odds of winning are better.

got question about this one...Don't you think that state with smaller population you have better odds of fairing better than state with bigger population....I think states with bigger population need to increase the number of payouts on compensate for their bigger population so that then can be even out with state that have smaller population...

The odds against hitting the jp on something that is designed to produce those size jps is going to stagger the players when they finally see it. Personally, I wouldn't bother playing. Five hundred million is way, way WAY more than anyone needs anyway.

I was taught/told whenever you recieve a number play it for at least 7 days. this is a poll to test if people do play qick picks and to hopefully lead to something that can help increase the odds in our favor of a hit. All states do the same thing. Many times they will advertise a game under an old name with a twist, such as you stated, yet these games are never identical. The odds, payouts, etc. are different. Only the appearances are similar. As for cashing a non-validated winning ticket, been there, done that. LOL. I guess some store clerks do get busy and forget what they are doing.

Feel free to play if again in 12 drawings, but there's nothing the least bit unusual about mega balls repeating within 10 drawings. The odds are against a specific ball repeating that soon, but for any 9 consecutive drawings there's better than a 50% chance that one of the balls will repeat. For 12 consecutive drawings there's only a 1 in 4 chance that there won't be a repeat.

Penna has a new new lottery game called Quinto, that require you to pick five (5) numbers. The odds of double,triple and even four of the same numbers coming out is greater then the big four. Is there a system on Lottery Post that allow you to wheel two and three numbers in a wheel.
