What's the cut off point for you?
It depends on the odds. For MM I wait until it is at $100 million, for the pick 6 I usually let it get to $10 million before I throw money at it. I would be content with $10 million.

Tn's New Lotto PLus
I was wondering if it was RNG. I was going to play it for the odds, but since it is RNG I will watch from the sideline.

Running an office Powerball pool is discouraging
I usually only buy 4 or 5 tickets. Not on every drawing, but when I can. The most I have spent on one drawing was 15 dollars and at the moment I won't be doing that again. The odds are just to high for me. So, I'll stick to buying a couple of tickets.

N.Y. pick 3: 03/1/ thru 3/31/2008
Thanks NY Slugger. You are right about the odds. It's better to wager on a 3 number box. I'm looking to get back into the game soon.

N.Y. pick 3: 03/1/ thru 3/31/2008
Lucky sums is such a waste to win only 6 dollars and 50 cents...i'd rather use the dollar on a 3 digit number...if you think about it there are 100 front pairs and 100 back pairs total(they are 00 - 99 ), pairs pay 25 dollars if you hit either a front pair or back pair for 50 cents and its pays $50 if you hit them for a dollar. If you play just one front pair your odds of hitting are one out of 100.As an example If you play back pair 28 those odds decrease back pair 28 is out over 400 draws... o

I know how you feel. But to be honest, even with buying 50 tickets the odds are still way against you. Just keep buying some tickets and maybe you will get lucky and hit big. That is what most of us hope for.

Pick-5 Wheels
I believe that some people are just intune with numbers. It's not just about odds but also how each individual thinks and feels about numbers. I guess my feeling are off more than on. You know when you say to yourself I have a strong feeling that such and such number is coming out and it doesn't most of the time. Wish there was a way to reprogram my brain to do the opposite and get the right feelings and hit!!!!

number system
Why would there be any problem? The government doesn't care how you pick your numbers. The odds are still in their favor, no matter how you pick your numbers.

Tonight's Fla. Lotto drawing first to let players increase jackpot
See that is kind of why I wouldn't waste putting an extra dollar or two on one line. The odds are against me winning a jackpot in the first place and I would rather use the money to buy more lines. I admit however, that I do use the Powerplay every now and then, but more often then not, I would rather buy and extra line then put another dollar on the same line.
