Those "raffle" lottery games
it depends on the person if they are comfortable spending that much on one ticket but in georgia the raffle is $20 so i was there to get megamillions and i decided to try the raffle anyway because the odds are posted as better than a larger jackpot game like megamillions so i didnt mind it but if you think its too much then you should follow your heart either direction

Star Spangled lottery not a hit with players
While the lotery likes to promoite the lesser odds raffles offer, they don't do a whole lot to point out that it's a $20 buy-in (price of a ticket) with a predetermined number of winners and a stagnant prize.

Oklahoma Lottery to add Hot Lotto, TV show
In my opinion the casinos payout more. The odds for scratchoffs stink. They need to market their products better and try and compete with the casinos as much as possible.

Pa. Lottery players dig Treasure Hunt game
i think i can overlook it being computerized.the reason being is that this game is what players need.a 5/30 game that ain't so hard to beat.if lotto 5 in tennessee was 5/30 i would play every draw without fail.i'm just not that interested in longshot odds.5/39 got old quick....

What will best help you to win the lottery?
The best answer is luck but I voted for the randomness option. Not quick picks that are spit out by their machine but a pool of selected numbers combined randomly (for the higher odds games, not the P3/4). No wheels for this caveman.

Pa. Lottery players dig Treasure Hunt game
Treasure Hunt, Pennsylvania Lottery's terminal-based Pick 5 game, has exceeded sales expectations. The game, which went on sale May 8, was projected to bring in between $2.5 million and $3 million in its first quarter. Sales have surpassed $3 million. Treasure Hunt is unique because it is animated online. Players get a grid numbered 1-30 and mark where they think the treasures are hidden. After the drawing at 1:35 p.m., the sand covered grid is shown online being cleared off, reveling five

Just curious, but does anybody know...
Well, I can't say I agree, because if you're guaranteed to win $3.00, that's like having a coupon for $3.00 off your lottery purchase -- with exactly the same odds of winning any prize, including the jackpot. That's $39.00 for 42 tickets. If the lottery ran that as a promotion, many people would go running for it. Meanwhile, all they need to do is play every Powerball. For those who are tempted to think I am proposing playing for that $3.00, you're barking up the wrong tree. I said before
