would you play more if your state offered 25 cent bets?
I couldn't answer. The way the state operates, if they did offer 25 cent bets, they would also probably cut the pay-off odds in half. If they did, the 25 cent bet would be no better than now at 50 cents.

Michigan lottery.........
If you want to increase your odds in Michigan then buy your tickets at those stores near the corner of Venoy and Cherry Hill in Wayne/Westland or buy your tickets in Livonia or buy your tickets at that one terminal in Jackson that keeps selling Million dollar winning raffle tickets.....or, lately, buy your tickets in Alpena. Pretty much buy your tickets In SouthEast Michigan and you may win 2 or 3 Big prize like all those people win there. Buy your tickets anywhere else in Michigan and your ch

unique system
This system is the same as putting all the numbers on pieces of paper and picking out six as a time until all the numbers have been picked. If you can't think of any other ways to pick your combinations then this way is as good as any and you will have all the winning numbers on your tickets somewhere but the odds of three of more of them being on the same line aren't any better than if you picked them any other way, you still have to be lucky to win something. Good luck to you.

what state are you from and how do you like your lottery?
Tennessee here. I'm pleased with the lottery. I wish lotto 5 would be daily instead of 3 days a week. As for scratch offs... They are the best I've seen. Even better than GA's odds wise. Go Rebecca Paul Hargrove.

MAJOR Shake-Up In The Scratch Ticket Industry
You're right, it won't effect prize structures and odds and such. But some states might start seeing different play concepts. The look of the tickets might change, as well as the way the scratch material comes off.

MAJOR Shake-Up In The Scratch Ticket Industry
I've read this. It really does'nt have any effect on the industry as of yet and doubt if it will. The overall odds are set by the various states, therefor the only thing they have to do is be creative in their work. Someone or some company will eventually be more creative than scientific games and do the same as they're doing now. I just hope this does'nt effect a lot of peoples livelyhood...

when do you give up on a number
The odds of a number or combination coming up never change, it's the same tomorrow as it is today or was yesterday. I seldom play the same numbers but I do have a set of birthdays that I play when I want to fill out an empty spot on my play slip. I've never given up on these numbers but I don't play them that often either.

Why you Will Never win Mega or Powerball
It's a game, it may be a farce, it may be a scam, but it's everyone's choice as to if they want to play or not.
I may win some day, but the odds are pretty much that I won't, but I know that, and I still play.
You speak of 3 games that had triples in them - that should tell you how random it is, I've see games with quads in them, and I have seen games with 4 consecutive numbers in them, but the facts are, there are certain tendencies that have 'much' better odds than others, and it's fun t

50/50 Odds
The perfect example of 50/50 odds is the coin toss. Either heads or tails or 1/2. However, the perspective is right because there are only two possiblities. They are winning or losing. A or B. However, there is a much better chance of losing than winning. Placing a bet is not a rational choice because keeping your money will ensure that you have it.

do you bet on anything besides the lottery?
I voted no....only play the lottery, and pick 3 only. I figure the odds are waaaay better, although I would play pick 4 if Oklahoma would start it up......
