Sounds like the kind of game another LP member was hoping someone would come up with in her state but she wanted the top prize to be worth a million$ dollars. As I explained to her when a game has odds of 1:150K or better of a jackpot winner and lower tier prizes too there's always going to be a winner before the jackpot rolls up a big amount. Either a game is going to have lots of winners and small jackpots or lots of losers and big jackpots, PB and MM are the latter.

Tntea I am always ready for the powerball I'd play the thing everyday if it was available. I get happy if I hit the powerball, cause everything after that hurdle drops the odds from 1 in 146M to 1 in 3.5M.

I was thinking that maybe they would raise the price of a ticket, but with so many people playing they most likely would not have to. At a buck a ticket the overall odds of winning any Mega Million prize is 1 in 40 and the odds of only winning $150 is 1 in 13,781 so do you really think people will play a game where there are less chances to win? Anyway, I not sure that never is right, but I wonder when? More and more states are offering raffles that have multiple $1 million winners

I do not concern myself with the odds of winning Powerball. I want the money they have so I play my dollar and hopefully I win but more than likely I will lose.-weshar75

Delaware Advertises Anonymous Winners Policy
I have heard several radio ads and seen a billboard for the Delaware Lottery advertising how if you win, we won't tell anyone . This is the first time I've seen this approach to marketing the lottery. It does make me wonder if they are missing the point that offering small prizes with lousy odds using a questionable drawing method sends players across the border.

When you think about it, both PowerBall and MegaMillions are local games in which the states combine 32% of their sales to offer a larger jackpot than most of them could afford by themselves. California, Texas and New York might be the exceptions since their state lotteries jackpots are some time bigger, but if odds of winning a lower tier prizes weren't as attractive there would be no reasons for the states to participate since most of the money would be leaving their states most of the time i

You can never put a time limit on when you're going to win the lottery because chances are you never will. I'm not trying to be a downer but when I read that you hope you won't have to wait for more then seven months I feel your expectations are awfully high and in the long run are setting yourself up to be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and try some of the smaller games,Pick 3 or 4. The odds are way more in your favor.

The overall odds of winning any prize in a 5/39 Pick-5 that pays $1 for matching 2 numbers is 1 in 9 so anybody with a large bank account could match Gail Howard's method playing QPs.

Where's the rest of the necessary information? If both choices involve picking 6 numbers out of 59 the odds are the same. How do you get 100 chances for B?
