would you buy tickets if price went up
Right ! But since Lottomike didn't say anything in the poll question about the prize amounts, I voted I would quit. It's already ridiculously hard to maintain a profit with the small payout odds.

Scratch Game Payouts
Scratch Indiana from the states giving me BS and add Washington. The Hoosier Loot -ery actually steered me to a Indiana state law archive which has all the info I need. So maybe they aren't so bad after all. But Washington just e-mailed me about a whole bunch of rules about obtaining the prize payouts for their state, or even the full prize odds.

edessaknight......I have been tracking the results in all states, and they are promising. Check into the results section in the morning and see what hit the day before in all the states and you will be able to track the odds.

Lotto 5/25: New Game Idea
The overall odds of winning a prize for such a game is 1:1.4 which means there would be practically no losers except the states. That's the kind of game more lottery players would like to see. West Virginia has a 6/25 game which pays $1 for a 3/6 match. It's jackpot is $25,000 and that is probably as easy of game to win the jackpot as you'll ever see.

Couple wins $15 million lottery jackpot after redeeming $10,000 ticket
There goes the odds theory again out the window. It is always just luck to the seemingly unlucky, and skill or fate to the seemingly lucky.

Ohio Classic Lotto Numbers
The overall odds of winning in MM are better than CL as well .
Really! In other words, your advocating that the odds of winning a lottery with 56 regular balls and 46 bonus balls drawn twice a week is better than a lottery with only 49 regular balls drawn three times a week? Where did you get your degree in statistics?
And, there are many of us out here that could care less about annuity's , cash is cash no matter how it's delt out.
There have only been five drawings since CL started,

Lottery foes try to restrict gambling, with little success
The main things they need to do is to say what the odds are on the scratchoff prizes, and also when they say it's 10 million or whatever, what is the cash option?

Do you wait for the PowerBall to get to a certain amount?
I wait till PB gets above 80 mill. before i buy my tix. Yes, i can live off the smaller jackpots should i ever be so fortunate to hit one, but i prefer to save my money till it reaches a higher level. I play a fair amount of Bingo also with pretty good results i would rather spend some of my fun money against those much better odds at Bingo for a decent $$ prize than chasing the PB 2 times a week essentially losing more than i win on it.

Do you wait for the PowerBall to get to a certain amount?
Either way, I usually wait for the jackpot to get up to about 25 million, but considering there are about 12 states with mega millions your odds are pretty long. Fun but long.
