Weird MM thoughts.....and it comes almost true
Of course it would kill the lottery. Literally. The odds of matching 3+0 are only 1 in 306. If 3+0 was the only match that paid anything the lottery would have to pay out $23 for every $1 they collect. If you've got a workable plan for financing that, you don't need to waste your time playing the lottery.

Michigan Lottery starts Millionaire Raffle game
Popular tickets will likely sell out in just 10 days
If you play by the odds, check these out: The Michigan Lottery is offering a 1 in 100,000 chance to become a millionaire.
That's better than your shot at winning Classic Lotto (1 in 10.7 million) and way better than your chance of taking home the Mega Millions jackpot (1 in 175 million).
Heck, it's better than the odds of being struck by lightning next year (1 in 400,000).
These are the best odds we've ever offered on any lottery

Store clerk judging you.
People that win big in my state come from small towns that I've never even heard of. If you're playing, you're part of the odds. You can't win if you don't play!

20% chance of winning, still play?
That's the point! I didn't say one way or the other, but if the Risk out weighs the odds of Losing (16.6%)/Winning (83.4%) would he still play!

N.C. Lottery to launch Christmas-themed games
I just saw Oregon's Lottery Scratch-it Holiday tickets. The $10 is called The 12 dogs of Christmas Tripler . It has 10-$10,000 top prizes and the odds of winning a single prize is 1-2.12. I would have though that the ticket would have been at least $100,000.-weshar75

'System' components
If you have 2 parts and each is accurate 75% of the time, then unless they have some other corelation with each other, they should agree AND be right 56.25% of the time. Flipping a coin (in this case) wouldn't change your odds that much (50% vs. 56.25%)

New PA Game - Mix And Match
According to my comps, 65%. Seems sort of high for a draw game, but the hit rate is 1 in 3.57, about the same for instant tickets. (Actually the instants have been creeping up in odds, now most over 4.) so maybe the state is weighing this against the average 35% or so of the average draw game.

tennessee lotto 5
I voted for Lotto 5 to go to do a daily draw, but my suggestions go deeper than just that. Tennessee needs, more than anything, a jackpot-driven pick-6 game, after which Lotto 5 should change to smaller game that's less jackpot oriented, and more driven towards better smaller prizes and better odds. Just my opinion. Allow me to demonstrate with the help of some HTML editing, graphic design, and the print screen button. Enjoy.

Personal Numbers
Does all the math, odds, etc, brought out in this thread, apply to the first test? All tests? Only the last combination?
Yes. The laws of probability and physics apply to all of them. The balls don't know what's going on and the laws of probability and physics don't know what's going on either. The laws simply work and the balls just follow the rules, whether it's a test draw or a real drawing.
As far as making a rational judgement goes, you can only work with the data that's availab
