For the record, even the cash value of $93 million would not be enough for me to want to quit my job. I enjoy the work I do and odds are, I would probably try to buy the Company I work for with my winnings.

Thank you Lucky! I like your 935 for evening. Pure odds have been out a record number of draws. Good luck to you!

Some of you....
Put a bunch of marbles in a bag...number them 1 to 56, then blindfoldedly drawn out 5 marbles.....or put it in a machine that shakes it up and allows 5 marbles to fall through a small hole........why is it over a period of time, let's say two months at twice a week......why is a player is able to correctly predict a 5 of 5 on five separate occasions?
But this sample principle of 'randomness'....same odds.......is not as successful with the lotto drawings.....are the odds somehow differently?.

Interesting AOL article
It's interesting to know the percent of sales each states payout in prizes but what different does it make? The games are designed to generate wealth for the states, not the players but they can be entertaining to play. Pick3/4 games have similar payouts regardless of their state and scratch-offs varies depending the market they serve. Unless you go on line which is legally questionable, you're stucked with what ever your state offers. The games with the largest prizes have the fewest winner

Against all Odds
All these miracles are inspiring to read, thanks for sharing!! Life is stranger than fiction, isn't it? A big congratulations to you and your unborn baby girl. May she (and you) continue to beat those odds !!

Against all Odds
Congrats to you ... And you are RIGHT ON! In 1991 I had a 1 pound 4 ounce baby boy that no thought would survive let alone thrive. Well, needless to say, NEVER listen to the naysayers and their odds. He is now 15 years old, doing very well and my angel here on earth. You go girl! God Bless Your little Angel!

What do you call getting slaughtered? When you play MegaMillions with odds of 1:175M of winning the jackpot and 1:50 of winning anything even $2 for matching the MegaBall, you've got to spend more than $50 to get slaughtered. Anything less is just plain losing.

Second $1M lottery win for deli worker defies all odds
Just goes to show you that odds and probabilities don't mean jack usually. Anyone has a chance anytime, regardless of how many times they already won.

PB Challenge 9/9
ayenowitall,
I understood what you were saying, my point was even if a person had all the winning numbers in his post the odds of having a winner in 10-20 lines using those numbers aren't very good. However I doubt if anyone has enough confident in their picks for the challenge to limit the combinations they actually play to the numbers they posted for the challenge.
I don't agree with nclottoplayer that during well in the challenge wouldn't improve one chances of during better in the act

Check out NY Lotto Numbers!!
I think it would be very interesting to see Hot Lotto expand enough to compete DIRECTLY with NY Lotto (eg Connecticut joining HL.) Which game is better: odds of 1:46 to win a minimum prize of $1, or 1:16 to win at least $2?
