Back to Basics (Dice)
Each roll is independent of the other rolls. They cannot be related by mathematics in any way
Also, I must add that the two rolls are mathematically related through combinatorics and the laws of probability. The odds of guessing two consecutive die rolls (before the first takes place) is 1 in 36, because there are 36 possible outcomes...or 36 permutation of the two dice. If you did not care about the order of the two dice within the group of two, then there would be six doubles (1-1, 2-

$200.00 Powerball ticket
I hate to disappoint you, but you should have gone with 200 lines for one drawing. You'd have a better chance of winning something. You just have the same odds of winning a prize for 20 draws.

For The Word Lover In You...
This idea has been pitched to lotteries before. What would make things better would be if you could repeat letters, making it more like a 5-digit game. That way, the odds would be 1 in 111,111 for the tprizes could be bigger, and the top prize could be a rolling jackpot.

Where is the $267m MegaMillion Winner(s)?
are you really that concerned about the person who won the jackpot? well if you are get over it, no one cares, do you think the winner cares about you? i don't think so, so why do you care about him/her. and we know from where it was bought that the winner is old, never plays regularly, and odds are it was a quick pick...

Powerball Sets A New Record
It seems like Powerball is setting a new record for setting the most new records.
I really dislike this new matrix. It seems to me aside from the occasional jackpot winner, fewer people are winning less money. I know for a fact I am. Powerball is doing a great job. A great job screwing the players with their ridiculous odds and bogus jackpot amounts.
Take a game...inflate the advertised jackpot amount so the unknowing will flock to buy tickets...decrease the cash value so you can supp

Powerplay 10X
The odds are 1:16 for EVERY draw this month and, if necessary, ALL future draws until it hits. There is NO handicapping this event just like there is NO truth to the fantasy of tracking anything that STARTS from a LEVEL playing field with each and every occurrence.

Jackpot
Quote: Originally posted by Powerball178 on March 4, 2006 WHY WORRY ABOUT IT? The odds of ANY of you winning a Lottery JACKPOT are ASTRONOMICAL. I will make a BOLD PREDICTION: Nobody on LotteryPost will ever win a lottery jackpot! How is that for a REALITY CHECK???
I am posting now so I can find this thread again for reference. Boy are you going to feel like an idiot. You tell others to get a life, yet you are here yourself wasting time. Ah love sweet irony. Just because you are ne
