STOP that noise !!
What you FAIL to grasp is the fact that the odds against YOU are NOT affected by what others do. You are NOT pulling UNIQUE rabbits out of a hat.
In the real world of MM; ANYONE (and you) can (and sometimes do) choose identical (a.k.a. DUPLICATE) selections...
Hence, MULTIPLE winners EACH facing identical odds.
Now, wash your hands...and try to GRASP that.

If you are going to buy 46+ tickets.....
Yeah Brad, good advice. So if you only have +/- $1-5 to spend, odds get higher, right. LOL. But your method is a bit wiser

your state sold mega millions & powerball
LOTTOMIKE, my vote is for when one game's jackpot is big. If either jackpot in CA playing MM or PB reaches 300 million or more, I would play. I hope that CA scraps CA SLP and enters PB with bigger odds.

If you are going to buy 46+ tickets.....
If the odds could be lowered to 4 million, the millions of normal players who would ordinarily buy only 1-5 tickets would shell out $46 or $42 for a shot at $15 million and the jackpot would be won everytime

when will oklahoma get its first triple?
The odds of a triple being drawn is 10 in 1000, or 1 in 100, but I'll say within a year . It will be sooner if they add a midday game.

LottoSouth...what happens Saturday?
so, them keeping that much is a fair thing? Geez, I need to get you guys and open up a lottery, have impossible odds just for fun, get fools like us to play for awhile, then close it off and and say I will pay double on the last drawing and pocket over a million, then walk away........anyone want to join me? LottoMike? Chewie? LosingJeff?

odds are reduced
All right, I'm looking at the back of a Mega Millions playslip.
Odds against hitting 5 + 1 = 1 in 175, 711, 536
So people here are saying that by playing one ticket, one set of numbers those odds are reduced by half. Absolutely no way. Play one ticket and that makes 175,711, 535 combinations to go.
As far as having the bonus number pinned all that would prove is $46 dollars was spent to have every Mega Millions number. All that would guarantee is a $2 win.

ABC duped by Powerball lottery winner hoax
Assuming that you believe in the whole odds theory. Nonetheless they would not be considered morons had thay won, and instead of wasting so much time trying to convince others they have. I'll take 2,000 over just a few tickets, or even hundreds any day, instead of wasting it all like they did. Whether they get it back or not, it was all still a waste of time and they are attention whores.

LottoSouth...what happens Saturday?
What happens Saturday on the last drawing if no one wins 6 of 6? Does the 4.5 M get split between the 5 of 6 winners? Could be odds worth playing. Does anyone know?

GA-KY-VA Lose for Life
Match 6 is not only all cash, but once topped $5,000,000. And it just hit 5 figures again, a strange $200,000 jump at that. You can't go wrong with Match 6, big jackpots, and great odds at getting your money back, if not more.
