I don't understand Michigan Keno.
It's about odds. You are less likely to get 0 numbers than getting 4 numbers, hence 0 numbers gets a prize (albeit a sucky one, MI has the worst $1 tickets by far).

random means it cannot be defined
Quote: Originally posted by Coin Toss on February 13, 2006 Coins, dice, roulette balls, etc... have no memory . Over the course of thousands of rolls of a pair of dice, 12 will have been rolled once every 36 times, 36 combinations on a pair of dice and only one way to make a 12, a 6 and a 6.
But in no way, shape or form does that means if you were to stand at a crap table and wait for 35 consecutive rolls without a 12 that the next roll would be a 12 (people actually do this). It might be. I

will you play the new win for life?
I'll play because the game is there. I'm a little more open minded with these games. I know it stinks for older generations not having a Cash Option for a top prize; however, I like the odds and it might be fun to try. Also... Since I'm young the win for life is very appealing.

pick 5 poll
Without question. particularly if the offer a reduced ticket cost (like some states less than $1.00 bet). Provides more wheeling power. Also provides the opportunity to play lower odds games (compared to NJ which uses 40 balls). Count me in! Where do I sign the petition?????

one to won
No, none of the one's I've seen. Static systems like lotto calendars where a three step process sends you to the box of numbers to play for the day. Such a system can win no more often then game odds, what probabilty would suggest. BobP

Headlines, LosingJeff Wins Powerball
Hi Tenaj! Are you a male or female? Believe it or not, I always think positive. You have to think like a dreamer if you want to hit the Hoosier Lottery daily games. No one has been more positive than me; however, when the odds never are given back, then you just throw your arms in the air.

powerball
odds are too great. If you pick one correct number out of over 140 million you win. They can sugar coat it all the want. It is gonna take a lot of luck to get it right. Forget winning and have fun.

when do you guys play?
I'm in a pool at work for Powerball and Louisiana Lotto. There are 6 of us in it and every payday, we put up $4/each and buy 2 Lotto and 3 Powerball tickets for the next 4 drawings. We've won a few small prizes here and there, but nothing big, yet.
I play Louisiana Lotto myself, buying a ticket for every drawing. The prizes are smaller but the odds are better. With a minimum jackpot of $250,000, I could pay off all my debts, including my house, mortgage, etc. and be in a good position.

A Losers Lament
Littlemanjen, thanks. The negative is caused by impossible odds. Its like trying to fly without wings. It is not easy for an outsider to know and feel the frustration, especially when you dont see it first hand. I am not asking for the world. Only to win one hundred dollars for every 15,000 tickets I buy. Is that asking too much?
