Lotto Georgia vs Lotto South
Tnplayer805 said: However, now TN has almost every game GA has the sucking has mostly stopped from TN atleast. But perhaps an inbetween jackpot game like Lotto Georgia, with a bit lower odds than Lotto South, would generate some new interest from the TN folks, especially if it was drawn once per week. What do you think? Thanks for your comments! Care to share how you voted?

Lotto Georgia vs Lotto South
Although I too prefer Fantasy 5 (actually I like Florida F5 better - lower odds!), I would definetly play quite a bit of Lotto Georgia, if the game returns in its original format. I can't spend 8 hours on a weekend round trip to the Florida state line, but ~ 3 hours round trip to Georgia isn't bad - especially on a Saturday morning breakfast run. Thanks for your comments!

Lotto Georgia vs Lotto South
I respectfully disagree that a lottery is a lottery. I choose to play lower odds games and I liked the format of Lotto Georgia better. I was a big fan of Lotto Georgia and really enjoyed playing it. So did lots of other folks.I don't have sales figures for Lotto South in front of me, but as konane pointed out earlier in this thread, sales certainly aren't skyrocketing. And it's certainly interesgting that Kentucky is considering dropping Lotto South.Thank you for your comments!

The Math and The Lottery
My lottery playing partner attempts to eliminate 8 to 10 numbers in the GA and FL Fantasy 5 games through analysis and most times he is successful and those numbers aren't drawn. While I agree that a good measure of luck is still required to win a jackpot, being able to eliminate numbers through analysis reduces the odds, and therefore the amount of luck needed. You only need to win a jackpot once to have your life change significantly. Even a small one between $100k and $500k will do.

Casino
Video poker. Only game in the casino where a positive return can be expected if the proper pay table can be located and the cards are played correctly.Heads up poker. You against other players, most of them having no idea how to play or what the odds are and all of you against the casino's rake. But the stud games are dying out in favor of Hold 'Em.

best lotto software
Once you chose 20 numbers for the software to work with you have handicapped it. If all the winning numbers are not in that group, it can't pick them. If your software is not consistently beating the odds then it is doing nothing that you couldn't do by picking your numbers randomly by hand.

Michigan repeats
Its not that odd.....the odds of that happening are 1 in every 166 draws. Not hard to come by those at all.Brad

Simple Concept
RJ, my thinking is that by introducing a lower odds game with slightly lower prize amounts, that more people will be enthused to play more often thus increasing the state's profitability by ensuring more winners.

Simple Concept
Well the odds of matching 1 number is about 1 in 5. It may seem like something you can do with your eyes closed, but it's not that easy. I calculated it so it would pay out 50% on average, so I don't see any reason why they couldn't do it.

TLC shows off their stupidity
It's ALL gambling....and, you Win or Lose....no matter what the game, or what the odds.oops! sorry Fairy, I guess we got off-track from your post.Yeah, that's our TLC. Instead of the word will (which gives you a choice) they should put can (not allowed), because there would be plenty returned.
