That would be the end of codes then and the end of finding a discarded winner now and then. But the benefits are greater regardless. How about for starters have definite codes for $1K (TOU) $5K (FOU) and $1 mil (MIL) and have them all in the sides or bottom of the ticket. I hate standing in line having tickets double checked. It would be easier if losing codes meant LOSING tickets and not also mean winners 0.0001% of the time. What a scam and you better bet they know it....

Why aren't people paying more attention to their elderly parents??? I'm sorry but an 88 year old man should have someone checking on what money's coming in and going out. I do this even with my mother who's 75 years young. At some point you have to start parenting and keep a better eye out. Obviously a victim involved in this type of scam would start showing signs of stress and worry. Wouldn't you notice? Wouldn't you want to know what is causing it? Wake up.

Did not mean to challenge your suggestion at all. Sorry if it came across that way. I'd actually read that suggestion someplace else as well. I just wasn't really sure what it gets you. I guess the proof that you had this copy within hours of the draw, versus making it up in a scam attempt later. Truce!

Illinois is the only state that offers an online option and with that you have to be a resident of the state. Any one suggesting otherwise is a SCAM ARTIST. Run as far and as fast as you can. If you really want to get in the game get a trusted friend or family member in a state that does offer the game to play your numbers or QPs and they can hold it or send it by courier to your country.

No offence to the auther of this post but bfter reading this post 3 time and after casuing possible damange to my eyes, I have come to conclusion that this sounds like nigerian scam. It has the same characristics such as help me transfer my funds and I'll give you xx% of the money.

All I have to say about the Powerball is that it's a Scam. Plain and simple. They charge double per ticket now, got rid of the multiplier, and the lower tier prizes are lower. AND they say the odds are better for winning even though they didnt take any numbers away ?!??! This is nothing short of greed and manipulation on behalf of the powerball lottery commision. They think people are stupid and will keep on playing mindlessly. I am boycotting the powerball.I've had enough of their BS.
