King Kong Millions from NY
New York raised their jackpot by $5 million with only 4 days left. I really didn't expect them to raise it but they must be having decent tickets sales even though the odds of winning anything seem to be 1 in about one million.Brad

Do Foreign Countries Have Pick 3/4 ?
I was just curious, I see europe has some million dollar type lotteries, but does anybody else besides the US have a pick 3/4 lottery? Maybe they have better odds or payouts.

LOTTERY’S First-ever millionaire raffle
You would think with a $20 ticket cost, PA would pay back better than 50% or perhaps have better overall odds. But at least all the prizes are cash.

Ohio players - Lot'O Play
Where did you come up with information that MI and OH were considering a joint jackpot game? They both share MegaMillions which caused a 20% drop in MI's BigGame sales when OH joined the MegaMillions group. Unless both are willing to support a game like SuperLotto with jackpots of $4-$20 millions and similar odds, I don't think a new game would attract enough players to be successful, it's hard to sell a game that cost more and has smaller payouts as an improvement over existing games which se

Number 13 'officially' unlucky in UK Lottery
Yep. All the numbers have the same odds of coming out. But 13 is chosen less because it has a bad vibe put towards it.

Article: Lotteries still directed to poor
I agree justexploring, some of us like playing the big jackpots even if the odds are really stacked against us. I think that when it comes to playing the game, you've got to know your limits and how much you can spend without going over your means.

Better Business Bureau warns of lottery-winning scams
I would think that sending money would be a big tip-off to most people. If you didn't enter it odds you didn't win anything and it's a scam.

Article: Lotteries still directed to poor
We all have our vices and toys. Some people smoke, some go to Happy Hour and some of us buy a few lottery tickets every week. I agree it's a problem for a few, but for others it's a chance to beat the odds. I just wish they'd stop creating games with more numbers to get higher jackpots. I'd rather see a winner twice a week win $3 million than one person win $40 million after several rollovers.
