Michigan Weekly 10/31-11/06
And what better way to screw you by returning the 29 pair in the midday tomorrow. What are the odds? My sheet says the 29 pair is the most due midday pair. Anyone care to confirm or deny?

Will someone win a starting level MM JP?
The odds for individual players and numbers remain the same no matter what the jackpot is. But the probablity of jackpot being hit naturally increases as more and more folks buy tickets.

Michigan Weekly 10/31-11/06
Out of 8 combined draws this week, 4 numbers had these pairs in them.....duh.......you would think I would learn to play them exclusively......the weekly pairs have a hit ratio of 75 per cent....not bad odds.068-503-639-003Next week we should pay more attention to them. By the way, they are hitting in the 4 digit also....3 hits.

PA Unlucky for Life
How many numbers is not the issue here; it's the lack of a cash option.I disagree. 1.)The number of number determines the likelihood of winning. The more numbers, the greater the odds AGAINST you! 2.) I can live on $3000/mo. minus taxes for life ...

2 most recent Powerball winners
Well that was the whole point of them increasing the odds wasn't it? For more roll overs, and more sales. Personally I would not mind winning a smaller jackpot after the hype of the $360 million one. As long as that ticket remains unclaimed, no one is going to give a crap about my measly $36 million.

2 most recent Powerball winners
The lottery didn't let anybody win. Whomever the person/persons who won just happened to have the winning numbers. Which can happen for any powerball draw at anytime the fact that there are tremendous odds doesn't mean small jackpots won't be won? Every jackpot isn't going to go 12 or more times without being hit.

PB won in MO
It will be interesting to see who claims their jackpot first. But I believe someone in MO just had dumb luck to win it. The odds of a rollover were still very high. This should only happen once in a while.Brad

Probability of a Rollover in Powerball.
Powerball beat the odds and someone won it. The prize resets to $15M annuity, $7.2 cash. I estimate about 14,000,000 in sales which gives the following rollover probabilities: 090.86%18.71%20.42%30.01%

Will someone win a starting level MM JP?
Odds are far higher that someone will win below 100 million than MM gets to 500 million. In fact there could be multiple times when it's hit below 100 million even before it gets to 400 million.

Will someone win a starting level MM JP?
Obviously the odds are against someone hitting that early in the game, however given the right set of numbers at the right time, I think it will happen sooner than anybody thinks. And it more than likely will not be a set of QP's that wins it.
