Lottery odds are not as bad as you think
If the drawings are RANDOM, then yes, they CAN repeat. Just because the odds of doing it are so high doesn't mean that they can't repeat. It just means there are so many millions of possible combinations that it is not likely for them to repeat.

Lottery odds are not as bad as you think
Even though we think its not computerize it is because the systems goes through all the numbers to see how many times it has been pick and it will generate to pick the number that has only one winner. Odds is high, but it will be one day your number will be the right pick quick pic or your own selection. Just beleive

Lottery odds are not as bad as you think
If you think it will significantly improve your odds by assuming that winning sequences won't repeat, then your logical next step would be to look at 5-, 4-, and 3-ball sequences within winning draws and filter out picks which repeat these past winners.

All Lotteries
Some predictors may believe they are picking winning numbers and lotteries are picking other numbers just to make them look bad, but they are legends in their own minds. The facts are somebody going to win regardless of the numbers drawn and as the odds suggest there are going to be a lot of losers.

what are the odds??
EXACTLY the same as any other combo.Consider 52-53-54-55-56 46 at the OTHER end of the spectrumthe odds don't change cuz of coincidence...any combo could REPEAT from one draw to the next. Are YOU smart enough to take the ANNUITY ?

Powerball Drawing
The odds of winning second place are 1 in 3,563,608.83. Powerball sold $25,826,780 worth of tickets (not including PowerPlay) for last night's drawing, according to lottoreport.com. Therefore, the MUSL statistically expected seven second place winners (rounded down), and that's what they got. One of them just happened to have bet the extra $1. Not an even payout with the old matrix at all. Congrats to the lucky Colorado winner.

New Jersey Couple are Lottery Mega Millionaires
That's one way to keep playing affordable. Let the regular players build up the jackpot and only play when the jackpot gets over $100M, the odds of winning are the same and the payout is better.

Michigan lottery profits at record levels, thanks to Club Keno
It's inevetible, but not for another couple of years. Savor the moment, because 1 in 175,000,000 odds will start looking pretty good in 2007.

Michigan lottery profits at record levels, thanks to Club Keno
We did just have a winner back in April for over $200 million....which isn't nothing small. But I agree....I remember the days when we and Illinois seemed to always have the big winners. Both games (PB and MM) had over doubled the odds of the game in the past couple years. Will there be more increases in the future?Brad
