is a $500 million jackpot possible?
ok i was thinking is a $500 million jackpot even possible, because when you think about it, like after the jackpot gets over $200 million then thats when everyone and there mother runs out and gets tickets. then when it gets to a certain point like say $320 million you know someone out there is going to hit it because its just too big.So do you think that we will ever see a $500 million jackpot, and what are the odds of that?

Fla. No Mirrors Pairs
Put your odd digits in first position tonight for a staight. Odds are pretty safe bet. Find a stack of 9 in a row anything..... how rare is that? Not as rare as 10 in a row! LOL

Probability of a Rollover in Powerball.
I have nothing to do with it. The probability of a particular number of winners is determined by the number of tickets purchased and the odds of winning the lottery. It is also possible for an improbable event to occur, for instance, and outcome with a less than 1% probability is still a possibility.

Has MM Challange lost its appeal?
Its not chicken feed by a long shot, (i would take $10,000) its just that you know it will be there, its the least you can win, if you play to win.....its when the jackpot starts climbing and the sales start growing and the odds of it rolling over go from 90% down to 50%, thats when you feel the most pressure to be right when you pick you numbers, you feel that time is running out on you, eventually it will get to the point where you know if your not right chances are good that someone else will

N.C. Lottery may start in six months
Save your money. The scratches in NC will probably only payout 50%, and even with the inevetible free ticket prizes, the overall odds will probably be 1 in 6 or something. I definately see that coming, seeing that 35% of all game revenue must go towards education.

Will gamble on lottery revenue pay off for N.C.?
I think so. So I think I'd avoid those NC Scratchers. The lowest I've ever seen was in NJ with a 55% payout, and the odds there were about 1 in 6. So a 1 in 7 scratch in NC would'nt be out of the question. If I was living in NC, I'd still be driving to SC or VA for scratch-offs.

Can someone buy every ticket?
For 1 in 20 million odds it's possible if you hired ten or so people to fill out playslip after playslip after playslip. However, it's not advised, because if the lottery sold another winning ticket, one may lose on the investment.

Cash-Magik-3
By the way, my system will not work playing a conventional 500 to 1 Pick 3 lottery as played in the U.S. Can't justify paying $100 to win $80. Wish Todd's favorite service offered Pick 3 and Pick 4, but they don't. I'll play where it makes economic sense to participate. I, being Scottish, hate wasting money on services that don't deliver the odds on games I can actually win.Orangeman
