Powerball Lottery Jackpot Jumps to $53 Million
Maybe if the jackpots start getting bigger it will become a favorite to more people. It never really mattered to me, because the odds are still against me. lol. =)

MN - Sept. Pix from an Idiot in Training
Thanks nanmaxsplace!!!! A WORD OF WARNING for today, Friday, Sept. 2:I would suggest NOT playing from this list today for MN Daily 3. Odds are that this list WILL NOT produce a winner tonight. After doing some trend analysis, this list will probably not hit tonight. It looks like this list should hit 10 to 12 times this coming month ........... but not tonight!Just a warning if you're interested!Good Luck,John

The Problem with Keno
pumpi76 says:Dear reader, i am a researcher in state lotteries andi have been researching state lotteries for sometime....The problem with KENO [a lottery game that selects 20random numbers out of 80] is that the odds of matchingthe right numbers are too highMost lottery players come to the same conclusions about every lottery they played.RJOh

Hoosier Lottery TV Bingo.
Has anyone noticed that the jackpot for the coverall is always smaller than that of the pickle jar jackpot. Wouldn't the odds of hitting the pickle jar jackpot be easier since they draw more numbers than they do with the coverall?

Lotto Pro 2005 ?
I assume you tried Lotto Pro for 15 days and didn't win a lot of money. By that standard, all lottery software would be a piece of junk and so would all workouts. There is no easy way to win when playing the lotteries because it's gambling and the odds are only a few lucky players are going to win. RJOh

I "THIN SLICED" 4 out of 6 numbers again!
Greg said You can have your impossible odds Megamillions and Powerball jackpots -- $3000./month for life is just fine for me! Well said !$40 in your hand are better than 100, 000, 000 in the sky that you might never get, let us get real, $3 000 a month for life does look real good.Let us come down to earth some, the cash 5 or pick 5 game is a really good deal, something more or less maybe with-in means of getting it when compared to almost impossible to win games like MM and PB and other pick

PowerPlay also changed!!
I must be missing something. In the old matrix you had a 40% shot of winning $200,000 or $300,000 if you PowerPlayed on a 5+0.Now you have a 50% shot of winning $400,000 or $600,000 on a 5+0...for a slight increase in the odds...plus you've always got that 50/50 chance of at least $800,000!It doesn't seem that bad to me.

Super Lotto South
The common player hardly ever looks at the exact odds. All they'lll see in WV is the SLS jackpot nestled in between HL and PB (maybe higher them both of them sometimes).

Lottery excitement builds as Mega Millions reaches $111 million
I have to say, Todd makes the most sense from this matter. The *odds* arent the reason for payouts, its the cashflow in cashflow out . Its called checks and balances of funds. When the play is for $1 and you make out with a 400% profit you really have nothing to gripe about. (unless 399% of it goes to taxes!!!).
